A 19th Century Chelsea type sparrow beak jug with floral decoration, 8 cm high, together with a 19th Century Chelsea type sauceboat with floral decoration, 12 cm long, a 19th Century Chinese Imari sparrow beak jug, 9 cm high and a further floral decorated jug with wrythen body CONDITION REPORTS Small sparrow beak jug basically sound though with some signs of minor wear to the enamel work and the oxide red lined rim. Minor fritting to the circular foot. See images for further detail. Minor hairline cracks to the interior of the beak spout. No signs of restoration under UV. The miniature sauceboat again basically sound though with some wear to the floral spray decoration. Firing fault to the oval foot in the form of a small chip glazed over and small lump directly above it. See images for further detail. No signs of restoration under UV.Chinese Imari sparrow beak jug - appears basically sound and decoration looks good though under UV there is evidence of restoration to the spout.Small wrythen jug - could be described the same. Overall impression good though under UV restoration to spout and rim.
