A Norman Grant flower pendant the silver pendant with full hallmarks for Edinburgh 1973-74, further stamped NG. It has a flower design enamelled in colours, with three silver drops. It has a 56cm, long white base metal chain, with a barrel clasp. Diameter of the flower element 2.8cm, length of pendant 8.3cm. Condition Report:Enamel in general good condition one very minor 2mm dull patch over the yellow dot. Overall light tarnish.

Frampton married Christabel in 1893 and the couple set up home together at St John's Wood in London. Together they designed a decorative frieze for the interior of the house and Frampton began to design household fittings and jewellery in enamel and precious metals. Frampton mastered a number of techniques in his career, which helped him in his interest in using several media to create work.

A continental black enamel scent bottle, probably Limoges, 19th century, of spherical form, the body finely enamelled with lady’s portraits on a gilt fleur de lys ground among scrolling floral motifs, the hinged cover opening to a glass stopper, 6.5cm high overall (at fault) CONDITION REPORT:The piece shows a loss to the enamel to the left of the rear portrait approximately 10mm H x 7mm W, with a further flaked loss (possibly an enamelling fault) to the cap approximately 4mm wide. The neck shows a loss to the interior collar approximately 8mm wide. The stopper fits well and appears to be original, but may be a later replacement. The enamel shows age-related fine surface wear throughout.

Very minor loss and pitting to the enamel to each panel, seen with x10 loupe Thinning seen to jump rings and links, commensurate with age and wear. Box and tongue fastening in good working condition. Claws are present to the untested garnet cabochons. Minor chips to the surface of the untested garnets. There is a split to a line of the rope twist panels (see images) General surface scratches, blemishes and scuffs seen to the metal, commensurate with age and wear.
