A Thomas Smart 18ct Gold Gentleman's Open Faced Pocket Watch, the watch having a fusee movement nr 68, key wind, white enamel face, Roman dial, gold hands, with rose-cut diamond end stone, approx 5 cms diameter. Inner dust cover is London hallmark 18 ct gold. The dial is in fair condition with hairline cracks between the hours 7 and 8.The watch ticks away and moves forward when wound, approx 28 gms.
A Macniven & Cameron Ltd Vintage Enamel Advertising Sign, the sign reads: 'They come as a Boon and Blessing to men, The Pickwick, The Owl, and the Waverley Pen', the rectangular sign measures, approx 21 x 92 cms. Macniven & Cameron Ltd later known as Waverley Cameron Ltd, a printing and stationery company based in Edinburgh, Scotland. The company was best known for its pen nibs.

Benson London', gilt double spade hands, subsidiary seconds dial at six, hand engraved monogram to back case, the three quarter plate lever movement signed 'A6282 Best London Make To H. M. The Queen J. W. Benson Ludgate Hill London'.* Condition: Winds and works briefly but then stops. Will require servicing and possibly repair. Minor losses from blue enamel to fine line around case chapter ring. Small scratches to glass. Two tiny dings to top of case back. Small nicks and scratches around thumbpiece on case back from use of tools to open. Dial good with no hairlines. Slight scuffing to sub. seconds dial from contact with hand.
A 9ct gold cased side wind half hunter pocket watch, case by Dennison Watch Case Co., Birmingham 1923, 45mm. diameter case with Royal blue enamel Roman chapter ring to case front, white Roman enamel dial signed by the retailer 'W. E. Gray 522 Oxford St. W. Swiss Made', blued steel hands, subsidiary seconds dial at six, the engine turned 7 jewel lever movement also signed by retailer; together with a 14ct gold cased Swiss half hunter key wind fob watch, early 20th century. (2)* Condition: 9ct: Case lacks inner glass. Winds and runs. Dial good with no hairlines. Case good, with small tool marks around thumbpiece from opening. Fob watch: Lacks inner glass. Winds and runs very briefly and erratically. Requires cleaning and possibly further work. Case has some losses from enamel and a few small dings to front. With key.
A Victorian 18ct gold open face pocket watch with Channel Island interest, case hallmarked London 1880, the full plate gilt lever movement signed 'J. P. Genge & Co, Jersey' and numbered 22019, white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, the key with retailer's name 'H. C. Le Sueur, Snowhill, Jersey'.* Condition: Watch tested and working, clear hallmarks. Dial has a single minute nick to enamel near centre. Case good, with just two tiny, feint dings to edge of back. Engine turning good with little wear.
A French 19th century tortoiseshell, boulle and ormolu mounted mantel clock, with single train movement no. 3729, the balloon shaped case with ebonised back and sides and ormolu foliate, shell and winged figure mounts and feet, the white enamel 3 5/8in. dial with Roman numerals and Arabic outer minutes, 9¼in. (23.5cm.) high.* Condition: Wear to gilding on ormolu mounts. A few small losses to boulle decoration but good overall. Dial has some tiny chips around winding hole and retouched chip to edge at 5 o'clock. Rear door lacks catch. Small chips to ebony veneer and chip to top corner of case and rear door by hinge (all old). Clock winds and runs. With key.
A French gilt brass carriage clock, c.1910, in a pillars case, with fluted columns, turned finials and applied blind fretwork frieze and apron, satin brass caryatid scroll mask to front with ivory enamel Arabic dial, single train movement by Richard & Co of Paris, 5¼in. (13.4cm.) high plus handle, one side glass a/f.
A large and fine quality large 19th century cobalt blue ground Chinese famille rose-verte moulded porcelain fish bowl, the upper rim with three floral sprays, the rounded sides with floral & foliate decoration interspersed by three floral reserves, sitting on a formal border to the foot, the base unglazed, 13in. (33cm.) high, 15in. (38.2cm.) diameter.* Condition: Glaze flakes and scuff marks to one side of rounded main body (between two reserves), enamel decoration flaking in places , otherwise good with no chips or cracks. No restoration.
Archibald Knox for Liberty & Co Cymric silver & enamel vesta case, hallmarked for William Hair Haseler, Birmingham, 1911, the front with raised circular quatrefoil and enamel circular boss in blue and green enamel, 1½in. (3.8cm.) long, 0.6 tr.oz. * During the 1890s, Liberty formed relationships with many leading English designers. In 1898, Liberty and Haseler created a formal partnership to launch the Cymric silver line under the title “Liberty and Co. (Cymric) Ltd.” using freelance designers. One of those designers, Archibald Knox (1864-1933), began designing for Liberty in 1899. He focused on the new Celtic design work for the Cymric range, whilst Haseler was responsible for making many of Knox’s designs. Knox was a highly gifted designer and is largely credited with the success of Cymric silverware. He continued to design for Liberty until 1912.** Condition: In very good condition, with clear hallmarks.

(11.5cm.) high.* Condition: In very good condition with no missing decoration.

A rare North Cinema Guernsey enamel sign - Channel Island interest, rare curved enamel advertising sign 'North Cinema Guernsey's own independent cinema, top budget films only, no booking fee, Tel. St. Sampson 4262', reputedly mounted on a rubbish bin within the cinema, red & brown lettering on light blue ground, 12in. (30.7cm.) high.* Condition: In very good condition, with minor enamel chipping around mounting holes.
A Meissen style porcelain patch box, 19th century, rectangular form with waisted sides, domed hinged lid with Watteau-esque scene to centre within raised gilt scroll work border, topographical scenes to all sides, scroll thumb piece, underglaze blue crossed swords with initials E. and C. above and below, 2¼ x 1½in. (5.75 x 3.75cm.); together with a smaller oval 19th century porcelain patch box, floral bouquet design with pique work style gold enamel, gilt metal reeded mounts and shell thumb piece, 1½ x 1in. (3.8 x 2.4cm.). (2)* Condition: 1. In good condition, some space between brass rim of upper section and plaque. 2. In good condition, with no faults.
A cased set of eight Royal Worcester for Asprey demitasse coffee cups and saucers, with puce printed factory marks, date code for 1935, the tapered pedestal cups with pointed scroll handles decorated in cerise with white scalloped panels enriched with gilded swags and oval rosettes, the interiors gilded, the cups 2¼in. (5.25cm.) high, in original black faux-leather case; together with a matched set of six Royal Worcester coffee cups and saucers with similar decoration, three cups and two saucers with a black ground and earlier date codes, 1918-1922, the case matched. (2)* Condition: 1. Complete cased set: Complete case contains one cup with tiny chip to foot rim, another cup has a 3mm patch of discoluration (we think probably in the glazing process). 2. Matched set (in similiar case): contains one cup with two tiny chips to foot rim, one cup with a chip (3 x 3mm) to cup rim exterior, one cup with tiny chip to foot rim - the three black decorated cups with similiar but inferior decoration (not for Aspreys) - one cup with tiny chip to foot rim and another with two 3 mm chips to rim. one plate has a green enamel dot missing.
A Royal Worcester fruit painted twin handled vase, of campana shape, the blue ground with gilt decoration, height 17cm. Condition report: Fine chip to inside of lid lip, finial glued ack on and some restoration to blue enamel at base of finial. Hairline crack to inside of lip near left handle, otherwise condition good, gilding good.
An Art Deco marble mantle clock, the 10.5cm enamel dial signed Quignon-Rombach, with arabic numerals above a rectangular brass panel repousse decorated with strawberries and leaves, height 29.5cm, width 38.3cm, depth 12.4cm. Condition report: Condition Report: Top left corner a 5.2 x 3.3cm loss to the case.
A fine French engraved gilt brass carriage clock by Paul Garnier no 1942, the white enamel dial signed PAUL GARNIER HER DU ROI PARIS, with blue roman numerals, the case with canted corners and profusely engraved and chased with scrolling foliage, the backplate with three shuttered winding and adjustment holes, height 12cm, width 9cm, depth 7.5cm. (See illustration) Condition report: Engraving nice and crisp. Gilding very good. Front glass has small but deep scratch. Both sides of glass are in good condition, as is top glass. Springs okay. Ticks but do not know how well it keeps time. Enamel face has fine crack to top left hand corner (see photo) but otherwise in good condition. Hands in good condition.
