London", diameter 16.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: There is a small chip to the dial above the 12 point spurning a 2cm fine hairline crack, a tiny pin head sized chip beneath the 6, a 1.5cm old split to the mahogany surround with some scratches in parts, one of the screw backs has been replaced with a spliced section of wood within this. The clock has come from a collection where the gentleman has had them running up until recently.
A French 19th century gilt metal and champlevé enamel decorated mantel clock, the circular dial set with Roman numerals, housing an eight day movement, flanked by cherubic set pillars, to a stepped base with floral enamel decoration throughout, height 45cm. CONDITION REPORT: Has a key. Has a "gong" strike. Good original untouched condition. Enamel is good. Light pitting and rubbing to gilt metal.

CONDITION REPORT: Some tarnishing to the case, as you look at the clock the left hand panel is vertically split and is crudely glue repaired with resides of rubbing throughout. There is a section to the right hand side plaque in the left hand top corner which has also broken and been crudely repaired. Front panel appears OK. Balance wheel moving freely.

CONDITION REPORT: The case has been later attached to an associated stand and the aperture for pendulum appears to be later. The case is slightly wobbly due to the base not being original. Pendulum and key missing.

CONDITION REPORT: There is some crazing and fine cracks to the purple enamel but overall in good condition. CONDITION REPORT: We cannot guarantee whether it is in working order. There is a small area of cracking to the edge of the dial next to the XI, with a few hairline cracks. The case in generally good condition with an area of dents to one side and with some spots of tarnish. There is some slight rubbing toward the edges. There are some small scratches to the glass.

CONDITION REPORT: General surface wear, some rubbing to the front parts of the gilt,m a few hairlines to the dial around the key winding apertures, lacking glass, odd tiny dots of dirt, the plaster base has rubbing and minor losses to the corners, the glass dome has a reglued crack to one of the sides to the bottom.
