This is a wonderful Art Deco circa 1930’s 14K gold ring showing thirteen diamonds. This diamond cluster ring is set in solid 14 karat yellow gold showing a fantastic stepped design in round brilliant and single cut diamonds. The diamonds have an approximate total weight of 3/4 carats and are set with a central round cut diamond surrounded by a six single cut diamonds and a tiered step of six more single cut diamonds. The ring also shows a beautiful black enamel inlay along the bottom tier of diamonds. The band is stamped 14K along and is in good condition for its early age. The representation of size is an approximation. The ring measures a US size 5 ¼.

This is a Smokey Bear porcelain enamel sign. Smokey Bear was adopted by the U.S. Forest Service back in the 1940's as part of their campaign to prevent forest fires. This sign shows a book of matches with Smokey's face. The sign is in good condition. It measures 11" x 7.75".

Included in this lot we have a Railway Express Agency porcelain enamel sign. The piece displays metal construction with a wooden backing. The sign shows a green porcelain enamel exterior with gold and orange lettering. The face of the piece is marked reading "Railway Express". The sign shows good condition overall with some wear across the face of the piece. The sign measures 5" tall by 75 3/4" wide.

For your consideration are two Benjamin industrial ceiling lights. These light fixtures show a green porcelain enamel with an eliptical shape. These are simple in form, and among the most iconic and sought after industrial light. These are original sockets, and one still shows the embossed "Benjamin Patent 12-24-12" markings. These show a green enamel on the outside, and a white inside on the bowl. These show original condition and wiring, and measure approximately 12.75"x9.25"x13.25"L at the bowl and 19"x24" in total length including the pipe.

For your consideration is a set of three Seed Pearl Polychrome Bat and Flower Brooches. This beautiful set of pre-1920's brooches is a collection of three pins. The first is a steel polychrome enamel outstretched bat wings, a green center stone set in a cabochon, and seed pearl accent hanging from the cabachon. This piece shows colors of green, red, white, and natural steel. The reverse shows some blue patina, and some of the colors on the front have started to wear with age and use. The pin latch is in good condiation. The second of this broach set is a gold filled polychrome outstretched bat wing, with a pink center stone set in a cabachon, and a seed pearl accent hanging from the cabachon. The wings show colors of blue, pink, white, and gold. This piece is in good condition with a warm patina on the pearl setting. The third piece is a brass design with a pink flower in the center, and small seed pearls on the edges. The metal shows a warm patina, and the pin latch is in good condition. Each piece measures approximately 1 1/2".

A large gilt-bronze and cloisonne enamel figure of Amitayus (Amitabha) Buddha, 20th century, probably Tibetan, modelled seated on a throne framed by a leaf-shaped mandorla and carrying a vase with the elixir of life, elaborately enamelled with polychrome flowers and foliage against a turquoise ground. Height 63cm Note: believed to be a copy of one of a series commissioned in the 18th century by the Qianlong Emperor.

London Underground 1950s/60s enamel bullseye PLATFORM SIGN from Stanmore station, then the northern terminus of the Bakerloo line, now the same for the Jubilee line. A small flanged sign, measuring 18" x 14" (46cm x 36cm). Signs from Stanmore station are very uncommon indeed. In ex-use condition, some small chips, mainly on the flange, but generally very good. Pair of 1950s/60s London Transport enamel COACH STOP FLAGS ('Request'), both are 'boat'-style E3 versions with space for 3 e-plates on each side, one with original runners and in excellent, ex-use condition, the other is a "new old stock" example, unused, never fitted with runners but with some damage/enamel loss at the leading edge. The flags measure 18" x 20.5" (46cm x 52cm). [2]

Pair of 1960s/70s London Underground enamel PLATFORM FRIEZE PLATES for the Northern Line, each with the line name on the bar of a traditional LT bullseye. These are end-of-section examples, one l/h, one r/h and, with the addition of a station name panel in the centre, would make up a self-contained display. Both are 9" (23cm) high, the first measures 24" (61cm) long, the second 18" (46cm). The first has some small enamel losses at three of the screw-holes, the second has only minor blemishes. [2]

London Transport ENAMEL PLATE, a commemorative plaque marking the 1953 tour of Switzerland & Sweden by London buses RT 3710 and RTL 1459, to promote British Festivals. One of these signs remained on each deck of the buses, along with a GB sign on the rears, throughout their subsequent service life in London. Measures 11" (28cm) square. Some damage around the screw-holes incurred when removed could be better restored. [1]

1940s London Underground enamel, framed PLATFORM BULLSEYE SIGN from Mile End station on the Central, District and Hammersmith & City Lines. A small (21" x 15.5" - 53cm x 39cm), single-piece sign with its original bronze frame. Almost certainly dating from the 1946 opening of the Central Line extension, the sign retains the 1930s style of lining-out and was probably located either tunnel-side or on one of the pillars on the platforms. In excellent condition, just a couple of very small blemishes. This is a very uncommon sign. [1]

This example is for Eastern Scottish, United Automobile, Western SMT & Yorkshire Services. A single-sided sign measuring 18" x 31" (46cm x 80cm). In very good, ex-use condition, some dirt stains at the lower edge. [1]

We think this would have been on one of the small hoardings situated outside newsagents and into which could be inserted the day's main headline. c1910s-30s ENAMEL ADVERTISING SIGN 'Sunday Chronicle'. This newspaper was founded in 1885 and was merged with the Empire News in 1955, which in turn merged with the News of the World in 1960. Measures 30" x 15" (76cm x 38cm) and is in generally good condition with small losses, mainly at the edges and surface corrosion on the reverse. A most uncommon survivor, we have not seen another. [1]

Signs from Gants Hill station are very uncommon indeed. In generally good, ex-use condition with some small chips, mainly on the flanges, and scratches plus a small area of damage on the l/h flange. Pair of London Transport coach stop enamel E-PLATES for Green Line route 715, one for each direction and destinated Hertford via Hoddesdon and Guildford via Esher respectively. Just 2 pairs of the former were noted - at Turnpike Lane Stn & Palmers Green, the latter were noted between Wood Green and Shepherds Bush with a sole example in Putney Vale. The former has some small edge chips from where slotted into the runners, otherwise both are in very good, ex-use condition. [2]

Pair of London Transport coach stop enamel E-PLATES for Green Line route 704, one for each direction and destinated London Airport, Slough, Windsor and Bromley, Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells respectively. The former were located between New Cross & Turnham Green and the latter between Gunnersbury and New Cross, so this pair could both have been located in New Cross. Both are in very good, ex-use condition with just minor blemishes. [2]
