A set of Giustiniani red-figure 'Etruscan-style' tableware circa 1830 comprising two dishes, two deep double-handled tazze, two shallow double-handled tazze, one ewer and one box with cover, the red earthenware glazed and decorated with black enamel with mythological scenes framed by various ornamental bands, the ewer of oblong shape with a moulded applied handle mounted with a cherub and acanthus leaves at the base and two goats mounted on the lip, the covered box with an applied ring-shaped finial impressed G and other marks, the dishes with imprinted 'Giustiniani' diameter dishes: 21cm., 8Iin. damages to one deep double handled tazza, restored chip to cover of the box, otherwise in good condtion (9)

An unusual silver and enamel casket, Karl Rossler, Vienna, circa 1890 rectangular, the cagework mounts cast and chased with scrollwork, four seated putti at the corners and busts of Bacchus set in niches on front and back, the scroll supports and corner columns picked out in enamel, the lid, sides and base inset with delicately-painted enamel panels, titled in French, on a pink ground width 10cm, 4in The enamel panels show, on front and back, the Four Seasons. The lid shows an allegory of Peinture et Sculpture; the ends: Minerve qui prot'ge les Arts and Venus et Mars. The untitled base shows a basket of fruit within strapwork and trophies. Karl Rossler opened his shop for: Kunstgewebliche Gegenstande in Gold und Silber. - Email- und Antique-imitation at V, Diehlgasse 50 in 1890 and is recorded as working at various addresses until 1908.
