Similarly painted flower heads, scrollwork and phoenix can be seen on a meiping in the Qing Court collection in the National Palace Museum, Beijing. The vase is one of a dragon and phoenix pair, which are unmarked, but dated to the Qianlong period in the catalogue. It is illustrated as catalogue no. 237, in volume 38, The Complete Collection of Treasures of the Palace Museum, Hong Kong 1999
