A South Staffordshire enamel bonbonnière, c.1770, in the form of a spaniel lying on a cushion, the cover moulded and painted with a bouquet of flowers, 5cm CONDITION REPORT: Minor cracks to inside of cover. There is a minor paint chip to the right ear of the spaniel, another to the shoulder. No inpainting to the interior - some possibly to the back of the dog.
A Continental silver and enamel vesta case, with London import marks for 1904, the front enamelled with a naked lady reaching up towards a blossoming tree, 5cm high CONDITION REPORT: Scratching to enamelled surface. Loss to enamel in bottom right-hand corner and top left-hand side. Small dents to reverse. Worn and tarnished.
A French carriage clock, late 19th century, the movement striking the half hours, in a silver-plated case, the circular enamel dial inscribed 'Goldsmiths and Company', the movement impressed 'PATENT S J RETYPOLLER', 19.5cm (to top of handle), in its original red leather carrying case CONDITION REPORT: The case has almost been cleaned to an inch of its life. Brass coming through to all extremities and edges. Repeat working platform escapement is a possible replacement. Dial 13 badly rubbed and inscriptions hard to read. Travelling case worn with wormholes and dried out.
