A New Hall attributed spiral fluted teapot, circa 1800, with hand painted floral spray decoration, a pearl ware bullet shaped teapot with hand painted floral spray decoration (lacking lid), and a 19th century transfer printed teapot depicting a shepherdess with sheep and cattle and a musician reclining against a tree. CONDITION REPORT: One teapot is missing a lid and the spout has two large chips. There are small chips to the enamel floral decoration. The spiral fluted teapot has four firing cracks on the interior rim approximately 5 mm in length. There is a further firing crack on the shoulder where it joins the body approximately 9 cm long. The rim of the teapot has a fine hairline crack which issues 7 cm into the body. There is a further 6 cm hairline crack 3 cm to the left of the previous crack and these two are united by a very fine crack running across the body (approximately 3 cm). The blue and white teapot has a 1.5 cm firing crack to the interior rim of the lid. There are two small chips to the exterior rim edge. The teapot spout has three small chips. The glazing is crazed to the interior. All items are unmarked with no signs of any manufacturers or pattern numbers.
Two gold plated half hunter pocket watches, each with enamel dial and subsidiary seconds dial, one inscribed for Thomas Russell and Son, Liverpool, the other Waltham USA. CONDITION REPORT: The Waltham watch winds and appears to be ticking away as it should. We have not tested the movement for duration. The small circular glass is cracked. There are some losses to the paintwork in the numerals on the outer case. The base appears to be in good order with no cracks. The outer case is in generally good condition and snaps shut as it should. There are two minor dents to the back. The plating around the loop handle is worn. The Russell pocket watch does not wind. It is not currently working. The plating to the outer case is rubbed at the extremities. There are some very minor dents to the case. The face appears to be in good order with no cracks.
A Victorian 22 ct gold ring, size M, and a gold coloured metal brooch with safety chain. CONDITION REPORT: The shank whilst structurally sound is a little worn. The hallmarks are very clear. It is a little misshapen. In our opinion this has been a wedding band to which has been added the oval stone and setting. The stone itself is in good condition and is secure in its mount. The accompanying brooch is in structurally good order. The centre stone is in good condition. The surrounding enamelled border has some small losses to the enamel and discolouration. The enamel is a very dark colour but is showing slightly tarnished green in places. The safety chain is in good order.
