Small split to the setting, and general denting, scratching and wear. Small areas of thinning and loss to the white enamel decoration, but largely this is in tact, though it does show heavy scratching and wear. Overall scratching and general wear, and some small denting to the borders. No signs of splitting or repair.Earrings: Some small nibbles/small chips around the girdle of one of the amethysts. Both stones show general scratching, wear and tear. Enamel is heavily worn - some small chips and losses, heavy scratching and some areas of staining. Earrings show overall scratching and wear commensurate with age and use, no splitting or signs of repair.

In some areas, the enamelling appears quite crude. There is a moderate amount of denting to the mount on the dropper, but no other major dents, splits or signs of repair to the pendant. The chain appears to be in good order, no splits or signs of repair.Purple example: Enamel in good order, no cracks, chips or losses. A few of the stones are missing. The cover to the reverse compartment is missing. There is some thinning to the pierced decoration, and some denting to the outer frame. No signs of repair.Blue example: All enamel is in good order, some scratching and wear. Beaded decoration is in tact. Some splitting to the spokes on the outer frame. There is some denting to the outer frame. No signs of repair.

A Victorian yellow enamelled locket pendant, the cover with an enamelled portrait of a masked women in 18th century attire, with small rose cut diamonds set to eyes, 35mm x 28mm, two compartments to interior, weight 10.2gmsCR; Diamonds are in tact, and secure in their settings. There is a small chip to the left side of a portrait, though it does not expose the metal beneath. There is some light scratching and wear to the enamel, but it is largely it good order. There is moderate scratching and tarnish to the front and reverse, but no denting, thinning, splitting or repair. One of the glazed panels to the interior is missing, but the remaining one is in good order. The red fabric to the interior is heavily frayed and worn. Hinges operating smoothly and securely. Clasp is firm but does open, and closes with a snap.Please note: The yellow metal is unmarked, and untested.
