It was purchased by a defaulting on-line buyer who despite having detailed images pre-sale, does not know what he is buying, does not read Conditions of Sale and decides to change his mind post-sale. That is not how auctions work. Needless to say he is now BANNED!
A ladies diamond set and enamel fob watch, dial marked Lacloche Freres, Paris, the round dial surrounded by the blue guilloché enamel bezel, worn facing the reverse, the front as an octagonal blue guilloché enamel panel set centrally with a diamond set floral motif, the panel surrounded by a diamond set band with an outer gallery of wider spaced and alternate larger diamonds, one of which is the winding button, the whole suspended on a diamond set loop, to a screw opening diamond set jump ring below a diamond set stylised bow brooch.
A late 19thC French gilt metal mantel clock, of eight-day movement striking on a bell, the enamel dial with Roman numerals and signed H'ry Marc, Paris, the drum shape case surmounted by a dead bird, a seated female figure and dog to the left, the oval base cast with nulled and foliate borders, strap work and ribband mounts, on scroll feet, 11½" high, ebonised plinth, (dome missing).
An early 20thC Art Nouveau painted Spelter and onyx mantel clock, of eight-day movement striking on a bell, the enamel face with Arabic numerals and painted to the centre with flowers, surmounted by a female figure with two doves at her side, the base cast in typical fashion with sinuous flower forms and inset with green onyx panels, 26½" high.
