With a frame number of 152128, this very original bicycle boasts a 20-inch black enamel frame, 26-inch wheels, roller lever operated stirrup brakes, two-speed bottom bracket, split rubber pedals, figured leather saddle and a padded black cover, front basket and Sunbeam decals.

A circa 1904 Lady's Dursley Pedersen. A size 'A' bicycle numbered 896?. Finished in green enamel with nickel-plated fork ends, 16-inch up-turned handlebars with inverted lever-operated stirrup brake and rear brake, celluloid grips, 26-inch Westwood rims and tyres, metal chain guard and a leather frame-fitted tool bag. The laced saddle has been rebuilt to original specification and Lucas double-ring bell and a nickel-plated 'Pathfinder' oil lamp is fitted.
A circa 1870 Vélocipède. An English pattern bicycle with its original 36-inch front wheel in remarkably good condition with its original enamel finish, the 30-inch rear wheel being a quality replacement, and also in good fettle. The bearings have been refurbished, and the steering head is sound; the seat support has apparently been replaced, the twist grip 28-inch handlebars have turned oak grips, and also featured are triangular pedals, hock rests and a brake. A much later 20th century candle lamp is fitted.
A c1888 D. Rudge & Co., 'Bicyclette Racer'. A 20-inch frame numbered 50575, finished in a two-tone green enamel with a long saddle support, this quality bicycle, featuring 28-inch hollow rims and narrow section ¾-inch tyring and, as was usual with Rudge, numbered component parts. Further features include a leather saddle, block chain, nickel-plated handlebars with a crows- foot bell fitted, later Reimann candle lamp, original pedals with correct style but new rubbers fitted, foot rests and lever-operated plunger brake to the front wheel. The bicycle has its own stand. (2)

A London delftware two-handled vase possibly dated 1716, the baluster form painted in underglaze blue with flower sprays, applied with two scroll handles and raised on a circular foot with a stylized stiff leaf design, inscribed to the underside with '17 / 16' in blue enamel, 17cm. Cf. Woolley and Wallis, The Warner Collection of English Delftware, 17th September 2019, lot 90 for a vase of the same shape.
A Spode pearlware pot pourri vase and cover c.1820, with a coffee can and two saucers, all richly decorated in the 'Peony 2' pattern with flowering peony branches detailed in pink, green and yellow enamel on a blue ground, the pot pourri vase raised on three dolphin supports above a shaped base, some faults, 17.2cm max. (5) Provenance: Alfred Gresham Copeland, Robert Copeland (1925-2010), and thence by descent.
A Copeland Spode jewelled vase c.1880, decorated with vertical stripes of stylized flowers applied with beads of white, coral and turquoise enamel, and a jewelled coffee cup and saucer similarly decorated in the Persian manner, printed marks, some damages, 15.7cm max. A rare and early Lowestoft teapot and cover c.1768-70, painted in polychrome enamels with a Chinese boy and his mother playing in a garden beneath flowering branches and before a low fence, the slightly domed cover with an open flower knop, cracked, 18.2cm across. (2) Provenance: a private collection in London. Cf. Geoffrey Godden, Lowestoft Porcelains, p.27, pl.18 for a teapot with similar early overglaze enamel decoration.
A white opaque glass scent bottle c.1780-90, probably Beilby, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, of flattened pear shape, painted in black enamel with the name 'B * Walton', with a blue and puce foliate surround, the reverse with a colourful flower sprays, broken and restuck, 7.2cm. Cf: a similar scent bottle dated 1780 and with the initials A*B was sold by Christie's, The Parkington Collection Part I, 16th October 1997, lot 113. Another, dated 1785, is in the Corning Museum of Glass, accession no. 86.2.23.
Two English enamel patch boxes late 18th century, of oval form, one painted with an elderly beggar holding out his hat, inscribed 'Pity the sorrows of a poor old Man', on a blue base, the other painted with a church within the inscription 'Let Hymen prove how true I Love', on a moulded green base, 5.6cm max. (2)

A Burgana 17 jewel cocktail ring watch, gold-plated with red, blue and white paste pave set to the hinged dial cover, four similar cocktail bangle watches, a Burton 17 jewel watch with garnet coloured and white paste dial cover, Buler with a fan shaped green and white paste cover, Cutex with a green, blue and white paste pave set cover, Cardinal with a floral enamel cover and bezel of white paste, similar enamel decoration to bangle.Burgana, Buler and Burton wind freel and are running at present time although no guarantee is given, other two watches wind freely but not running.
