A Chinese Imperial style enamel vase, with enlarged trumpet stem flanked by part pierced dragon handles, the bellied circular body heavily enamelled and decorated with panels of flowers broken by further flowerheads on a blue ground, raised on circular foot, unmarked probably late 19thC, 48cm high.
A George VI silver and enamel compact, Adie Bros. Ltd., Birmingham 1950, square, engine turned, the lid enamelled with a mallard duck landing on a lake, within bright cut and green enamelled borders, 2½in. (6.3cm.) square. * Condition: Very good condition. A few tiny scratches to surface of enamel. No enamel loss. No dents or dings. Closes crisply.
A L'Epée brass carriage clock with repeat, alarm and half hour strike, c.1984, the white enamel Roman dial with Arabic alarm dial at six, signed 'L'Epée Fondée en 1839 Saint Luxanne France', the signed twin train movement striking the hour and half hour on a gong, 5¼in. (13.25cm.) high plus handle, in original case. * Condition: Working well. In good condition, with just minor light scratches and some tarnishing to brass. Case good. With key.
A Japanese enamelled earthenware vase, early 20th century, depicting birds in flight above traditionally dressed flower/fruit pickers, 9in. (22.9cm.) high, together with a Japanese cloisonné charger, the centre depicting a fiery phoenix, diameter 11¾in. (30cm.). (2) * Condition: Vase: Has a small, faint hairline to rim. Fine glaze crazing throughout, with some patches of discolouration to the glaze. Charger: Damage to footrim with large area of enamel loss. Remainder of underside and upper surface in good condition.
A Mont Joye poppy cameo style glass vase, early 20th century, amethyst graduating to opaque glass, wide upper section decorated with gilt scroll and floral design on cylindrical flared body with three enamel poppy stems, 15¼in. (38.7cm.) high. * Condition: Small chip (on side & above floral decoration) with tiny cracks each side, some minor base nibbles, some light interior staining to base (should clean).
An extremely rare, fine quality Edwardian cased 9ct gold opisometer or map measuring tool, combined with a compass thats doubles as a magnifying glass, the two glazed enamel dials calibrated for statute miles, kilometers and nautical miles to one side and inches to miles or versts and centimeters to kilometers on the other, complete with original silk and velvet lined Morocco red leather fitted case. Hallmarked for J C Vickery, London, 1908, measures, height 3.62in. (9.2cm.), width 1½in. (3.8cm.), depth 0.39in. ( 1cm.). weight 2.2.tr.oz. * Condition: In great condition, with no damage or repair, some very minor staining underneath the glazed covers, very clear and crisp hallmarks, case very clean.
A Meissen style porcelain patch box, 19th century, rectangular form with waisted sides, domed hinged lid with Watteau-esque scene to centre within raised gilt scroll work border, topographical scenes to all sides, scroll thumb piece, underglaze blue crossed swords with initials E. and C. above and below, 2¼ x 1½in. (5.75 x 3.75cm.); together with a smaller oval 19th century porcelain patch box, floral bouquet design with pique work style gold enamel, gilt metal reeded mounts and shell thumb piece, 1½ x 1in. (3.8 x 2.4cm.). (2) * Condition: 1. Good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. Some wear to gilt mounts. 2. Star crack to base. Tiny firing crack to interior just below hinge.
A French gilt brass carriage clock with repeat by Achille Brocot, c.1900, with corniche case, white Roman enamel dial with Arabic outer minute track, twin train movement with AB star mark, striking the hour and half hour on a gong, 4 3/8in. (11.1cm.) high plus handle. * Condition: Some tarnish spotting to gilt throughout, notably to top, front of handle, top edges of base and edges of front panel. Small scratch beside repeat button and large light scratch to back of base. Movement, strike and repeat working. No damage to dial or glass. Lacks key.
An Austro-Hungarian silver gilt and enamel circular compact, Vienna, 1872-1922, .900 silver content, 'L A' maker's mark in flattened octagon, opening to reveal circular bevelled mirror above gilt interior, 1¼in. (3.4cm.) diameter. * Condition: Small loss of enamel to edge of gilding on bottom bowl. Loss of reflective film to back of mirror edge, probably from someone removing mirror (nail damage).
Five 19th century ivory toothpick boxes, one with rose gold wire work and plaited hair under convex dome to lid; one oblong with tortoiseshell and gold pique work lid with oval portrait miniature; one oblong with inlaid rose gold and tortoiseshell decoration to the lid, centred by a seed pearl, wire and enamel beehive in oval reserve; one of plain reeded form; and the last with pique work flower pictorial to lid, 2¼in. to 3½in. (5.7cm. to 8.9cm.) long. (5)
An 18ct gold cased ladies half hunter manual wind wrist watch, hallmarked London 1913, Swiss 15 jewel movement, the circular case with black enamel Roman chapter ring, white enamel dial with inner gilt dot minute track, on an 18ct gold Britannic Patent sprung bracelet, case diameter 26mm. * Condition: Some small scratches to enamel and glass, expected wear from use to case but overall good. Strap in good cdn. Movement is fully wound and runs briefly but then stops - may free up with a drop of oil but will require servicing for use.
A large Japanese Meiji period Imari porcelain Temple vase, of ovoid form with waisted neck & everted rim, heavily decorated in gilt and enamel work, the ornately framed reserves depict two traditonally dressed fruit pickers within a forest scene, the main body depicts Golden Onagadori cockerels at the waterside, height 31in. (78.7cm.) on hard wood base. * Condition: Very good condition, no chips,cracks or restoration found.

Slim full plate fusee lever movement with gold balance and diamond end stone. The silver consular case with raised cipher initials GK hallmarked 1866. The inside of the case bears the following inscription 'Carried throughout the Abyssinian campaign of 1868 before the siege and capture of magdala'. 52mm dia.
