A 19th century French gilt metal and porcelain mantel clock, the whole surmounted with a pedestal urn with fixed cover, the case adorned with a central ribbon supporting leaf and flower swags, the Sevres style dial having raised Roman numerals and enamel decorated with a band of flowers, all heightened in gilt, twin winding holes for an eight day brass cylinder movement having outside countwheel and striking on a bell, the whole raised upon a plinth and further housed upon an ebonised plinth under glass dome, clock h.38cm, gross h.48cm
A late 19th century French gilt bronze and champlevé enamel mantel clock, the dial signed Miller & Sons of Paris, the architectural case with reeded columns and winged goddess figureheads, the enamel in shades of blue, having centre vase issuing scroll flowers and foliage, the eight day brass cylinder movement striking on a bell, stamped Miller & Sons, Paris, and numbered 22262, case h.47cm Condition Report / Extra Information Fully running and striking. Enamel good and complete. Gilding excellent, bright and with no tarnishing. Overall very good example.

A pair of rounded cases comprising: a brass canister with polychrome cloison enamel designs of vessels and foliage to all faces; a silver lidded canister with appliqué high-relief lion to the lid and maker's mark to the underside, separate repoussé sleeve with cut-out to the upper face to accommodate the lion, scene to one side of figures in a landscape with flowers and a bird, to the reverse a figure with a string of coins and a frog. 176 grams total, 47-63mm (1 3/4 - 2 1/2"). Property of a Warwickshire gentleman; formerly in the private collection of the famous actor Leslie Phillips; acquired 1950-1960. Born in 1924 in London, Leslie Phillips attended the Italia Conti Academy where he developed the slightly affected accent which became his trademark. He usually played a roguish, suave charmer, and also enjoyed successful comic roles in the early Carry On films and on radio’s The Navy Lark. He has appeared in more than fifty films, plays and TV series spanning six decades; and recently gained new fans through his appearances in the Harry Potter films. He was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 1998 Queen's Birthday Honours; promoted to Commander (CBE) in the 2008 New Year Honours. [2, No Reserve] Fine condition.

A mixed group of belt or strap ends comprising: an openwork crescent with wreath detailing, lobe finial with radiating strokes; an openwork heart-shaped plaque with oak-leaf to the void, waisted plaque and socket with 'UB' in blackletter script; a gilt-bronze with rectangular socket, square panel below with rosette and flanking scrolls, balustered shank and free-running ring, enamel design to the socket with 'AR' Lombardic initials. 75 grams total, 41-76mm (1 3/4 - 3"). Found Canterbury area, Kent, UK, 1980s.[3, No Reserve] Fine condition.
Rare German football pin "DFB" with No. 26 - Pin of Honour was awarded between 1960 and 1965 from the German FA in gold with wreath. One of the highest honours of the FA. Gold with green enamel, 585 stamped gold, weight 4.8 g. Numbered "26". Up to 1973 only 47 were issued! Size 1.5 x 1.5 cm.
