A 19th century Chinese bronze shallow circular bowl with cloisonné enamel decoration depicting dragons and roosters chasing the flaming sacred pearl in two panels, divided by geometric sections with central character/seal and with two bands of stylised motifs above and below, the character/seal mark repeated to centre of bowl interior and to top of pierced bronze stand, diameter approx 25cm, height approx 8.5cm. CONDITION REPORT There are some areas of loss to the enamel, some pitting to the surface and cracks very possible present from manufacture.

A George VI hallmarked silver and engine-turned pale green enamel decorated six-piece travel vanity set comprising two hairbrushes, two clothes brushes, mirror and lidded powder jar, all contained within a fitted interior of light tan leather silk-lined suitcase, vacant compartment beneath, the exterior initialled 'M.N.', Adie Bros Ltd, Birmingham 1936. CONDITION REPORT There are some areas of damage to the enamels with chips to the handles of one of the clothes brushes and the mirror, all the items with surface scratches to the enamel (to greater and lesser degrees), the hand mirror particularly scratched and with further small nibbles to the edges of the enamel where it borders the silver. Glass of jar OK, some wear to the internal fittings with a split to one of the corners of the interior, general distress and cracking to the leather, surface dirt to the silk-lined interior and areas of discolouration to the exterior, with some scratches etc.
