The important group of orders and decorations belonged to Georgy Grigorjevich Zhoganov Suvorov Order 3rd Class. Breast Badge, 80x50 mm, Silver, early type with screwback suspension bar, separately-made centre medallion, with red enameled border; the reverse, with three rivets securing the obverse medallion and a vertical, broad stickpin, the lower right ray, engraved with no. 224 (McDaniel-Schmitt, Type 1, Variation 1). Order of the Patriotic War 2nd Class. Breast Badge, 47 mm, Silver, enameled, separately-made hammer-and-sickle in GOLD, the reverse engraved with no. 478468, mint mark and original, screwback suspension, Order of the Red Star. Breast Badge, 47 mm, Silver, red enamel, the reverse engraved with no. 56120, mint mark and original, screwback suspension. Medal bar with five decorations: Order of the Red Banner (missing, but present a silver plate drilled for mounting a pre-1943, screwback piece); Medal for Courage, Silver and red enameled details, the reverse, struck with no. 174007; Medal for Military Merit, Silver and reed enameled details, the reverse, struck with no. 235073; Medal for the Defense of Moscow, Brass; Medal for the Victory over Germany, Brass; all mounted for wear, with original ribbons on the original, aluminium base-plate with horizontal pin. “Ordenskaya Knizhka” with picture portrait of Zhoganov, wearing the uniform of a Guard’s lieutenant colonel, wearing all the mentioned orders (including the Suvorov with suspension bar), inscribed with all the numbered awards, dated March 8th 1947 (started in December 1942). Medal for the 40th Anniversary of the Victory, type for labourers (perhaps belonged to a member of Zhoganov’s family; brass, with original ribbon on its original plate. A highly interesting and rare group, belonged to a brave officer of the Red Army; extremely fine to excellent condition. I-II RR!

Neck Badge, 55 mm, gilt Silver, hallmarked "swan", enameled (chip on one arm), both central medallions gilt silver, enameled, original suspension loop and neck ribbon. Breast Star, Silver, 74 mm, maker's mark "Randal, Rio", superimposed part gilt silver, enameled, reverse with long vertical pin, in damaged case of issue by "Randal, Rio" with bar. Minimal chips to the white enamel of the star otherwise very fine and scarce set! II R!

NATIONAL ORDER OF PEACE Grand Officer’s Star, 2nd Class. Breast Star, silvered bronze, 96x90 mm, superimposed part silvered bronze, enameled, vertical tapered pin and two side hooks on reverse, maker’s mark “Arthus Bertrand, Paris”. Two minimal cracks to the white enamel of the central medallion. I
EQUESTRIAN ORDER OF SAN MARINO Commander’s Cross, 3rd Class, instituted in 1859. Neck Badge, 55 mm, gilt Silver, both sides enameled (a few chips to the white enamel on the reverse), both central medallions gilt silver, enameled, with crown suspension device and original ribbon, in case of issue of “Dco Cravanzola, Roma” with San Marino coat of arms on the lid. Nice old model! I/II
ORDER OF TAKOVO Grand Officer's Set, 2nd Class, (Mihailo Obrenovic IV), instituted in 1865. Neck Badge, 71x43 mm, gilt Silver, hallmarked "800", center medallion with the monogram "MO IV" on red enamel, enameled princely crown suspension with ring and original ribbon, minor enamel damage on one arm on reverse. Breast Star, 82 mm, Silver with brilliant cut rays, maker’s mark "AA, G.A. Scheid - Wien", entirely repieced, super imposed part gilt silver enameled (enamel damage), central medallion gilt silver, enameled, reverse with vertical tapered pin, in case of issue with maker’s inscription and gilt weapon on the lid. A superb and very rare set! II RR!
