A Japanese Cloisonne pot and cover, Meiji period, trefoil shape with geometric collar, the shoulder with dragons against a blue and aventurine ground above bladed panels with phoenix, the underside with a dragon and with three short feet, height 11 cm, and a small Cloisonne vase with quatrefoil top above a melon form body decorated with floral scrolls, height 9 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The enamel on the ball knop is 60% missing and has raised wires. The lid to which the ball knop is attached is in good order. Under a jewellers loop the bladed panels on the shoulder are outlined in silver and this metal is slightly uneven on some panels. However I emphasise that this is only as viewed under close scrutiny. To the naked eye there appear to be no fissures, hairline cracks, crazing, dents or chips visible. With the exception of the ball knop this piece appears to be intact. The small melon form vase that accompanies this piece also appears to be in good condition with no obvious faults.
A Persian enamel ovoid bowl on stand, 20th century, the interior decorated with a scene of Khajoo Bridge against a floral border with white ground, the exterior with peacocks and foliage in white against a dark mauve ground with applied jewels, the stand similar but with a central cartouche of birds, both pieces signed. Height 30 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The Cloisonné enamel is rather pitted and dirty looking. There are very small knocks to the Cloisonné but nothing of any great significance. The body appears to be in good order and free from dents and splits. The foot rim is a slightly more reddish colour and lighter than the main body. One handle is firmly attached whilst the other is detached from the bottom although still attached at the top.

A Champleve enamel circular waiter, with centre porcelain panel, probably Sevres and signed "E. Collot". Plaque diameter 14 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The porcelain itself is in good order with no obvious faults, scratches or chips to the surface. The Champleve enamel is very pitted and dirty but this is more due to the firing process. There are small flakes of enamel missing throughout the border but in my opinion these do not detract. There are two holes in the border which may have been used to house a bale handle. The metalwork on the underside has been gilded but is now rather dull and rubbed. The back plate can be removed by unscrewing the legs to reveal that there are no chips on the rim of the porcelain. There is an inscription on the reverse in ink B l: above D: t: there are no other inscriptions or marks visible.
