ART DECO LADIES COMPACT & CIGARETTE CASE the silver cases both with guilloche enamel with central motif set with opal doublets, onyx and marcasites. Made by Adie Brothers, with Birmingham hallmarks for 1937. Cigarette case with inscription dated 1940, dimensions 6.7cm x 8.2cm. Compact dimensions 7.2cm x 7.3cm. Both in a made to measure fitted box. Weight of the compacts together 206.3gms, in the box 371.8gms Condition Report:"Cigarette case; Enamel; white edge, no chips minor scratches and abrasions, seen with a loope, bearly visible by eye. Pink enamel; one small flake chip missing from bottom right hand corner, very light scratches if any, please see photo 4, for clarity. No damage to the opal, tiny gap to one edge, this is from the stone cutting & not damage. One small dent to the back, see photo 13, inscribed inside. Clasp ok.compact; enamel; all ok, very light scratches if any. Light powder residue, mirror in good order. Some very light dents to the back, see photo 8"
A SILVER & ENAMEL CYMRIC BROOCH featuring a dragon, stamped Cymric Sterling to the reverse. Dimensions 5.2cm x 2cm, weight 5.2gms Condition Report:Stamped Sterling Cymric to the reverse, enamel is basic, a single firing, two at the most, no chips or cracks, metal work all good, hinge rivet is not silver.
TWO ENAMELLED POWDER COMPACTS a deep orange guilloche enamelled silver square compact with triangular enamel and marcasite motif, made by Henry Clifford Davies with Birmingham hallmarks for 1949. Dimensions 7cm x 7cm. Together with a red round powder compact diameter 5cm, with import marks for London 1928, makers mark P.H.Vogel & Co, with marcasite flower basket motif, and gilded interior weight 39.1gms Condition Report:"Square; Enamel;- very light couple of scratches to the surface, few pin holes and dips in the enamel overall, probably because red enamel has a horrible habit of burning out, so they would have kept the firings to an absolute minimum. Orange part of the decal, has a scratch, this is from setting the marcasites, not full thickness. Back all good, slight powder residue to the interior, one black mark tothe edge of the mirror otherwise good. Round one deep flake missing from the back edge, please see photo 5 & 8, slight scratches to the base, otherwise ok. Slight powder residue to the interior, mirror good, discolouration to the edge is polish residue & will clean up. *Missed this; there is a flake missing from the hinge edge, its currently full of metal polish, photo attached"

Slight rubbing to the gilt and to the painted decoration on the gilt at the waist
A RICHARD AND CO FRENCH MANTLE CLOCK the ormolu case with lion head handles, swags of laurel, and acanthus leaf decoration, the porcelain dial painted with birds and flowers, surrounded by Roman numerals and enamel decoration, the Japy Freres movement with stamped marks and numbers 2213 39, 25cm high, together with a pair of ormolu satyr mask handled porcelain urns painted with flowers and butterflies, 21cm high (3) Condition Report:Clock is missing it's finial. No key but has pendulum. Winds and ticks. Urns are probably missing lids.
