A George III gold and black enamel memorial ring with hairwork panel and a matching brooch, the ring and brooch inscribed, 'Robt Pickup Obt 15th Feb, 1819 at 32', ring size P, gross 6.5 grams, brooch 18mm, gross 5.7 grams.CONDITION: The glazed panel on the ring is very scratched and there is some minor damage to the black enamel.Lead solder on the underside of the brooch mount at one end. Some minor scratches to the glazed panel, otherwise in good order.

A rare pair of Chinese yangcai 'New Year Longevity' stem cups, Qianlong or Jiaqing period, each of inverted bell shape with moulded mask ring handles, finely painted to medallions with prunus, lingzhi and sacred bamboo (nandina) which form the rebus - May the fungus bestow longevity, the reverse inscribed 'xin nian ming bei' (New Year longevity cup) 'yu Kai fu ju' (an extract from a poem) and 'fu jiang zeng wan' (fujiang's pleasures), on a sgraffito ruby ground decorated with feathery leaves and flowers, the interiors with five red bats, symbolising the ‘Five Blessings’, there is a different diaper band below each rim and around each foot, the base with underglaze blue mark 'zhu lin tang' (Pearl Forest Hall), 11cm highCONDITION: One of the cups has been broken in half and reglued with some filler restoration and splintering to the immediate area on the inside. They don't appear to have any restoration or filling on the exterior, but there is also a small associated chip to the rim on one side. The second cup has a small V-shaped section of the rim broken and reglued, with some slight splinter losses around the immediate area on the exterior and a short hairline crack curving around from this, there is also some flaking to the enamel on the top of one of the mask handles and also both with some wear to the gilding on the rim.

Ch. Gaultier, Bordeaux. A late 19th / early 20th century French bronze and ormolu mantel clock, modelled with Cupid holding a cockerel, with floral painted enamel dial, unsigned eight day movement, on a Sienna marble plinth and ormolu toupie feet, height 15.75in. width 10.25in. depth 6in.CONDITION: Overall in somewhat neglected condition, bronze of the cherub is a good rich chocolate brown but has some green verdigris where the left leg meets the ormolu case, cockerel has a dull ormolu finish, main body of the clock ranges from mid gilt to dark tone with pronounced green oxidisation or verdigris showing on the left side, dial perhaps a little dirty but otherwise looks good, signed CH. Gaultier, Bordeaux, movement looks complete but lacks pendulum and key, very minor fritting around the edges of the marble base, feet a little dull in finish, overall in need some restoration but a very high quality clock.

An early Worcester high-footed sauceboat, circa 1752-3, of oval shape, the body embossed with cornucopias of flowers and fruit variously suspended from large purple ribbon bows, a smaller green ribbon, a spray of leaves and a curious fish, the moulding picked out in enamel colours, further drapery festoons embossed and painted around the pedestal foot, the interior border and the centre painted with flowering plants in a mixture of famille verte and famille rose, the rim edged in brown, 22.3cm longCONDITION: Small patches of black speckling to the glaze around the rim, other minor glaze imperfections.

A George IV gold, black enamel, oval cut foil backed garnet and split pearl cluster set mourning ring, the underside of the ring head inscribed 'Granville Hasting Wheeler Esq, died 3rd Feb, 1827, aged 46', size M/N, gross 7.1 grams.CONDITION: Most of the pearls have some minor surface blemishes. No visible damage to the garnet. Some damage to the black enamel, in the form of small chips, scratches or minor loss. Inscription clear. No gold or maker's marks.
