Southern Railway enamel DEPARTURE INDICATOR PLATE 'Swanley' with original wooden backing tumbler, probably from the departures board at Victoria. Swanley is on the Chatham main line between Bromley South and Rochester. Measures 17" x 2.5" (43cm x 6,5cm) and is in good, ex-use condition with some small chips, mainly at the edges. [1]
Pair of c1950s brass BUILDING SIGNS or DOORPLATES, the first 'District Estate Surveyor, British Railways' (18" x 9" - 46cm x 23cm, in very good, ex-use condition) and the second 'The Prudential Assurance Co Ltd, Life - Fire - Accident' (13" x 8" - 33cm x 20cm, in good, ex-use condition, small losses to the enamel inlays of some letters). Pair of London Transport/London Country coach stop enamel E-PLATES for Green Line route 715A, one in each direction, the first destinated Saturday, Ripley, Guildford (these were recorded between Kingston and Cobham) and the second Saturday, Enfield, Hertford (these were recorded between Lancaster Gate and Palmers Green. Both are in very good, ex-use condition, one needs cleaning. [2]
c1940s/50s Tilling-Stevens VEHICLE BADGE believed to be from one of the relatively small number of buses and coaches built by this company after WW2 (see second image). A stainless steel and enamel plate measuring 5" x 6" ( 12.5cm x 15cm) and in good, ex-vehicle condition with small blemishes from use. A most uncommon badge, not see by us before. [1]

The disc measures 12 1/2 inches and is in fair condition with some chips to the edge but none on the writing. Est. £30 - £50.

A Rare Original 'INCE' Railway Totem Enamel Railway Station Sign. This particular example has not been bought to market previously. Its in heavily weathered condition, flanged edge example. This came from Ince station, Ince railway station serves the Ince area of Metropolitan Borough of Wigan, Greater Manchester. The station is on the Manchester-Southport Line 17¼ miles north west of Manchester Victoria.
