A Victorian walnut framed circular wall clock, the single fusee movement with anchor escapement by Robert Bryson & Sons of Edinburgh, the dial with Roman numerals CONDITION REPORTS Approx 39cm diameter total, dial approx 31cm. Dial approx 13" diameter. There is a large chip to enamel. There is crazing all over and various other chips. Dial has been screwed into place. Brass rim is pitted and patinated. Back case is split to one side and repaired, there are chip and losses all over, there are splits to the underside. General wear and tear, scratches, chips. Key and pendulum is attached. Not known whether complete nor whether in working order.
A 19th Century French wall clock, the eight day movement by Valery of Paris, housed in an ebonised and boulle work decorated case, bearing label inscribed "Haiz & Isele Watch and Clock Makers, 32 Grafton Street, Dublin...." CONDITION REPORTS This has come from a private vendor. No key. Lidded case is separate to the case itself. There are losses, cracks and repairs to the moulded floral decoration, the brass inlay appears to be present but is rising. Patination. Tortoiseshell is cracking, enamel cracked. Has previous repairs and replacements, back is lined with plywood. The face is pitted, crazed, discoloured, areas of gluing and retouching including to Enamel numbers and some are chipped. Clock hands do not appear to be original. Not known whether mechanism is working or complete. Has heavy wear and tear. Case is approx 82cm long and 56cm wide. Pendulum present but no key.
A late 18th Century Bilston enamel patch box of waisted oval form, the hinged lid inscribed "A Trifle from Woburn", the base in lilac, together with a similar example inscribed "A Trifle from Hull", the top opening to reveal a mirrored interior and the base in lilac CONDITION REPORTS Each approx 4.2 cm x 3 cm. A trifle from Woburn - cracks and losses to the enamel to the top (see images), metal is tarnished, general small light scratches, crack to the interior, general wear and tear. A trifle from Hull - various cracks, losses etc from the enamel to the top, various light scratches throughout. Significant losses, cracks etc to the interior (see images).

We can make no guarantees as to whether or not these are in working order. All items have wear, scratches, some discolouration to dials, some have the glass missing, wear to enamel, various beads etc missing.

Various firing faults, surface scatching, etc. Chips and losses to enamel and especially around the base, firing faults, scratches, etc. The base has various chips to the rim and overall has general wear and tear conducive with age and use. Pair of vases have dirt and various firing faults and some discolouration including large brown mark on one facet. Various firing faults, especilally to the handles. An early 20th century Regimental brooch for the Denbighshire Hussars, the Prince of Wales feathers are pave-set with rose-cut diamonds above blue enamel swags with the words 'Ich Dien' and 'Denbighshire Hussars' in gold. 3.5cm wide. Cased. The Denbighshire Hussars was a unit of the British Army from 1794 to 1921. It saw service in the First World War before being merged into a unit of the Royal Artillery.
A Victorian gem-set gold Holbeinesque pendant, centred with a cabochon emerald between four octagonal-cut garnets. The gold mount set with four pear-shaped emeralds and four red guilloche enamel flowerheads each centred with a small diamond. With further enamel decoration. Suspending an untested pearl which hangs from the small diamond and enamel-decorated cap. The bale and conjoining scroll section further decorated with blue and white enamel. The small circular link possibly added later. Profuse foliate scroll-engraved decoration to the reverse. 7cm high. Fitted case by Bloom.

A late 19th century coloured gemstone set necklace and pendant, the necklace formed with graduated gemstones each set in a gold cut-down coronet collet, and each separated with a gold scroll link centred with a leaf design set with a diamond and decorated with shaded enamel and spotted white enamel to the scrolls. With detachable gem and diamond set enamel decorated pendant. 36cm. Gemstones include sapphires, tourmalines and quartz stones.
A French 19th century gold long chain and cruciform pendant in the Renaissance Revival manner. The hexagonal body divided by lines of pellets which are joined with strips of polychrome enamel lozenges. The centre red, green and white guilloche enamel Maltese cross quartered with floral designs. The gold chain formed with links of three designs: armillary spheres with white enamel zodiac bands, longer triangular form links with cannetille decoration and enamel lozenges conforming with the body of the cross, and shorter three-sided links with enamel axe head motifs. Simple cylinder clasp. Ram's head control marks to the cross and chain. Other indistinct marks. The cross 8.8cm high, the chain 84cm. The armillary sphere reflected scholarship and knowledge throughout the Renaissance and appeared in many examples. See Snowman, Kenneth A., The Master Jewellers, Thames & Hudson (2006) , p.81 for a châtelaine by Frédéric Boucheron surmounted with a similar armillary sphere circa 1870 - 80.
