Facetted silver twelve pointed star mounted with gilt pierced Garter on a rich blue enamel ground. To the centre, a silver VR cypher set on a translucent red enamel ground. Four screw posts to reverse. VGC

Scottish. Royal Scots Greys Officer’s Waist belt. A fine scarce post 1901 example. Seeded gilt rectangular plate with burnished edges mounted with crowned pierced circlet of Scottish Thistles, this in turn is mounted with a silvered Order of The Thistle Star with central crowned gilt centre with green enamel backing, The belt is of regimental pattern gold lace depicting the thistles of Scotland and edged with blue leather. Red Morocco backing. Bullion remains bright. Complete with two sword slings. VGC

Die-cast cut silver Garter Star, the principle points being honours, mounted on central green translucent enamel, a gilt crowned roped strap pierced with ‘Enniskillen’ with strung bugle to centre. Small gilt Sphinx mounted to lowest star point. Two horizontal loops to reverse on ornate eight lobed mount. VGC
Royal Marine Artillery Officer’s helmet plate circa 1879-1905. A good gilt example. Large flaming grenade, the ball mounted with laurel sprays, ‘Gibraltar’ scroll at the top and fouled anchor at the base. Centrally a pierced strap ‘Per mare per Terram’ set on a blue enamel ground; to the centre, a silver globe in relief. Three loops to reverse. Slight service wear. Gilt toned . GC
39th (Dorsetshire) Regiment of Foot, Victorian Officer’s shoulder belt plate circa 1825-55. A fine rare gilt example. Rectangular plate, seeded and with burnished edges, mounted with silver star bearing gilt crowned pierced strap ‘39th or Dorsetshire’ on a blue enamel ground. Centrally, on light green enamel ground, gilt Gibraltar Castle and Key with a scroll ‘Montis Insignia Calpe’. Above the star, a gilt scroll ‘Primus In Indis’; below the star, a number of ornate battle honour scrolls. Two hooks and two studs to reverse, complete with leather liner. 54th Foot (W.Norfolk) 1878 Presentation Silver Pocket Watch. The hunter pocket is engraved to the inner dust cover “PRESENTED TO SERGT MAJOR R.G. TYSON BY HIS BROTHER SERJEANTS AS A TOKEN OF RESPECT AND ESTEEM AFTER A LENGTHENED SERVICE OF 25 YEARS IN THE 54TH REGT FORT WILLIAM 1878”. The watch face is signed “James Murray Royal Exchange London & Calcutta” The enamel face with cracks, no key present, watch has not been tested. PLEASE NOTE “Offered as an historical items only; the instruments’ accuracy is neither warranted or implied.” Sergeant Major Robert Tyson enrolled into the 54th as a Boy on the 21st August 1851. He received his final discharge from the 2nd VB South Lancashire Regiment in August 1893, having served 42 years with the Colours.

Suspended on cornflower blue ribbon with original brooch fitting. Housed in its red Deschler & Sohn. München original case, the fitted interior with maroon flock and simulated cream silk, the lid impressed gilt ‘50’ within a wreath. Service wear otherwise GC. Following the first mention of such awards in late 1935, the Faithful Service Decorations were instituted by Adolf Hitler on 30th January 1938, designed by Professor Richard Klein

White enamel Bath cross with silver gilt and enamel eagle and swastika between each arm. Reverse with pin fitting impressed 900 and 21. Hook fracture otherwise generally VGC. Instituted 1st May 1937; reorganised 27th December 1943.

German Third Reich Hitler Youth Knife by Carl Eichorn, Solingen A good scarce example, the plain blade bearing cutler’s stamped squirrel logo and RZM M7/66 and ‘40’ stamped to the forte ... Nickel plated turn up quillon and pommel with two piece black chequered composition grip inlaid with red and white enamel HJ swastika diamond. Housed in black painted scabbard with black leather belt loop retaining press stud securing strap. Minor service wear and wear to plating in parts. GC Introduced in 1933 with the motto “Blut und Ehre” on the blade. Motto discontinued in August 1938.

A good example worn by an Ortsgruppenleiter of tan woollen cloth with light blue piping to the welt of the crown and either side of the brown velvet cap band. To the front, silvered Political eagle and swastika; below, an enamel cockades with central black enamel swastika all set in large gilt metal oakleaf wreath. Celluloid ‘gold’ cap cords supported by seeded gilt buttons. Brown pressed fibre peak, tan lining. The interior with sweatband and cotton lining. The sweatband reattached to the peak. Some service wear and moth nips to the piping.
