The bristles on the hair and clothes brushes worn and somewhat discoloured. There is some soiling inside the box and some unevenness to the base as can be seen in the images. The teeth of the comb are broken with many lacking.

Enamel in good order. Some wear and cracking to the gilt scrolls. Mounts may have been re glued. Enamel box - slight pitting to the surface and scratches to the underside. Vinaigrette - hinge good with only very minor play, enamel with no major chips, some wear and minor losses to the gilding, internal grill cover intact and fits correctly
