William Bate (C.1759-1845), a portrait miniature of John Denis Browne, 1st Marquess of Sligo, enamel on metal, inscribed to the reverse "1810 painted by Bate, painter in miniature to her R. H. Princess Elizabeth" in a similarly engraved unmarked gold case with suspension loop set with three small diamonds, the miniature 2.3cm high. Illustrated.
