Case shows a few shallow dents, but no splitting or signs of repair. Moderate scratching and wear throughout exterior and interior. Case opens with ease and closes with a snap, sitting flush. Chain in good order, no splitting, major damage or signs of repair.

Spoons generally OK.
A WWI Armistice commemorative twenty-two piece part tea set, each piece decorated with the flags of victory, and with a wreath titled ‘War Declared Midnight August 4th 1914 Armistice Signed 5a.m. November 11th 1918‘, comprising sandwich plate and six side plates decorated with HMS Iron Duke, six saucers and six teacups decorated with HMS Lion, a milk jug decorated with HMS Iron Duke, and two mugs also decorated with HMS Iron Duke, with a 1910 ‘Edward the Peacemaker’ transfer printed mug. Additional InformationAll of the tea wares have crazing, some light rubbing to the gilding and minor wear to enamel. One of the teacups does not ring, and one of the mugs has a hairline crack to the base. Both mugs are additionally marked with the name ‘Waterfall’, possibly a school name. The two mugs and the plate also decorated with a mono-plane. The Edward mug is crazed throughout.
ROYAL WORCESTER; a cased twelve piece coffee set, decorated in black and gold, with six Continental 925 standard silver and enamel Art Deco coffee spoons, cased. Additional InformationOne of the coffee cups is broken in to several pieces and glue repaired. Other items generally grubby, one of the cups perhaps has a slightly duller ring to it, however no visible cracks can be seen. Spoons generally tarnished. Case with heavy age wear rubbing, and an old Sellotape mark.

There are some very light surface scratches to the enamel but the carved hardstone are all present as are all the diamonds and there is just general surface wear throughout. There are traces of an indistinct mark to the pin, the brooch is probably French.

The cuvette is also engraved with presentation inscription dated 1891-1922.
