Trio of double-sided BUS STOP FLAGS comprising an enamel (with added alloy plate) 'Barton Robin Hood' with an illustration of a Bedford VAL (flag is slightly bent with a loss and corrosion at the inner edge), a wooden West Yorkshire, Bradford 'Saltaire & beyond' and an alloy Strathtay Buses 'Both Ways', the latter two in good, ex-use condition. Signs are 12"-14" (31-36cm) across. [3]
Southern Railway enamel STATION TARGET SIGN from Horsted Keynes, the junction on the former LB&SCR line from East Grinstead to Lewes (closed 1958) and the spur to the Brighton main line via Ardingly (closed 1963) and today a thriving part of the Bluebell Railway. Measures 32" (81cm) across and generally in very good condition with small enamel losses and edge-wear that have been well restored. Mounted on wood backing for display purposes. [1]
Pair of London Transport coach stop enamel E-PLATES for Green Line route 706, one for each direction of travel. The first is destinated Aylesbury and plates with this wording were located between Bushey Station and Tring. The second is destinated Victoria, Croydon, Chelsham and these date from Feb 1969 onwards and were located between Berkhamsted and St John's Wood Road. Both are in very good, ex-use condition. [2]
London Underground 1938-Tube Stock enamel CAB DESTINATION PLATE for Elstree / Special on the Northern Line. Elstree [South] would have been the 2nd stop on the planned extension to Bushey Heath which was aborted after WW2. The plates for the extension stations were thus never actually used on the trains although installed in the sets. A double-sided plate with brass ends. In very good, ex-use condition. [1]
1950s/60s London Transport enamel BUS STOP SIGN (request version) from a 'Keston' wooden bus shelter. A most unusual item. Comes with its original wood fixing battens in place on the reverse. Measures 18" (46cm) square and is in very good, ex-use condition with only very minor blemishes. [1]
London Country bus stop enamel E-PLATE for route 400 destinated Eynsford. This mid-1970s incarnation of the 400 number ran from Belvedere to either Longfield or Eynsford and this plate would have been located in Dartford town centre where the route bifurcated. One light scratch but otherwise in very good, ex-use condition. [1]
1950s/60s London Underground enamel PLATFORM FRIEZE PANEL from the former Aldersgate station on the Circle & Metropolitan Lines. It shows both line colours to indicate the shared platform. Aldersgate was renamed Barbican in 1968. Measures 44" x 9" (112cm x 23cm). A few small blemishes but generally in very good, ex-use condition. [1]
Czechoslovak State Railways (CSD) enamel SMOKEBOX or CABSIDE PLATE 354137 from 1921-built 354.1 class (former 629 class under the Austrian numbering system) 4-6-2T locomotive built by Skoda Works as one of the first orders from the CSD following the break-up of the Imperial Austrian State Railways. Some of these locos survived until 1978, the individual history of this one is not known. In very good, ex-loco condition. [1]

London Transport coach stop enamel E-PLATE for Green Line route 713 destinated St Albans, Dunstable. Destinated plates for the 713 were withdrawn before location records were made but it is likely to have been located from Victoria northwards. A couple of tiny scratches but otherwise in very good, ex-use condition. [1]
London Underground Q/CO/CP Stock enamel DESTINATION PLATE for Addison Rd/Neasden on the then Metropolitan & District Lines. Addison Road was closed during WW2 and re-named Kensington (Olympia) in 1946. Double-sided, reversable, with brass ends. In ex-use condition with some enamel losses. [1]
London Underground Standard Tube Stock enamel CAB DESTINATION PLATE for Elephant & Castle/Queens Park on the Bakerloo Line. Double-sided with brass ends and a very uncommon, early plate with small identification lugs at the top edge. Generally in very good. ex-use condition, some enamel losses to the lettering have been touched in. [1]
London Transport coach stop enamel E-PLATE for Green Line route 705 destinated Slough, Windsor and annotated Fare Stage. Just one pair was recorded - on the Great West Road at the Berkeley Arms Hotel. 'Fare Stage' plates for Green Line routes are not common. In very good, ex-use condition. [1]
London Underground Standard Tube Stock enamel CAB DESTINATION PLATE for Loughton / Wood Lane on the Central Line. Interestingly, Wood Lane Central Line station closed in 1947 (replaced by White City), the year before Central Line trains reached Loughton but this plate would have been made earlier in anticipation of the Line's eastward extension. This is the first plate for Wood Lane that we have seen. In ex-use condition with some enamel losses, mainly around the chain-holes. [1]
London Transport bus stop enamel G-PLATE 'Dial-a-Bus'. An E9-size plate from the 1974-76 service from Hampstead Garden Suburb to Golders Green Stn that facilitated passengers to telephone for a bus and be picked up/collected as near as possible to their homes. It was replaced by conventional route H2. It is thought that there were only 3 fixed stopping places (incl Golders Green which had a destinated version) for this service so these plates are most uncommon. Some small chips at the top & bottom edges but otherwise excellent. [1]
London Post Office Railway ENAMEL SIGN 'Eastbound' with 4-flighted directional arrow. Thought to date from the opening of the line in 1927 and this may be one of a matching pair that are known to have been located at the Mount Pleasant signal cabin (see second picture). Measures 24" x 6" (61cm x 15cm). In very good, ex-use condition with some small enamel losses. [1]

British Railways (Eastern Region) enamel STATION TOTEM SIGN from Upminster Bridge, opened in 1934 by the LMSR but used exclusively by London Underground District Line trains to Upminster. The station passed from BR to London Transport in 1969. A heavily weathered example with colour loss and corroded flanges and reverse. [1]
London Transport coach stop enamel E-PLATE for Green Line route 720 destinated Epping, Harlow, Bishop's Stortford. Plates for this route are not common, in particular for the former northern terminus. Location records are not available for that earlier period. In very good, ex-use condition. [1]

SIGNAL LAMP (marked LNER on interior section) complete with fisheye lens, reservoir & burner plus a London Transport TAIL LAMP complete with reservoir & burner. All in very good, ex-use condition. 1960s/70s London Underground enamel PLATFORM FRIEZE PANEL from the former Northern City Underground Line platforms at Essex Road station. Opened in 1904 by the Great City & Northern Railway, Essex Road was part of the Underground from 1933-1975 after which it was transferred to British Rail. Today it is operated by Great Northern. Measures 43" x 9" (109cm x 23cm). An excellent example with just very minor blemishes. [1]
Pair of bus NOTICE PLATES comprising a Middlesborough Corporation enamel 'Own Risk..' plate as affixed on open-platform buses - label on reverse states it to be ex-1946 Guy Arab III no 26 (XG 9826) withdrawn in 1962 - (measures 8.5" x 6" - 22cm x 15cm) plus a Wigan Corporation alloy 'Information' notice plate (measures 14" x 10" - 35.5cm x 25cm). Both are in good to very good, ex-use condition. [2]
London Country bus stop enamel E-PLATE for route 813 destinated via Sishes End, Martins Wood. The 813 was introduced as a Stevenage local circular service with the 814 in 1973 and replaced by Superbus SB3 in 1976. Likely to have been one of a pair at Stevenage Bus Station. In very good, ex-use condition. [1]
