During this period Lachnit was not allowed to make any art and he worked as an exhibition designer; much of his confiscated art was lost during the Dresden fire bombing of 1945 although some items were found in the Munich Art Hoard

Anch? together with a pair of gold plate Ls?B patent cufflinks and two hat pins.Since the first centuries of Christianity people used the Egyptian hieroglyph ?Anch? as a symbol of the cross, because it had the similar shape. The meaning of ?Anch? is ?life?. ?I am the resurrection, and the life? (John,11:25).
A 19th Century oak longcase clock, by Walton Crawford of Scarborough, the 11 1/2in. white enamel dial with roman hours and subsidiary date dial, the arched painted with a pastoral scene, contained within an oak and mahogany hood with broken swan neck pediment above ring turned columns, above a shaped waist door and box base, raised on shaped bracket feet, 218cms high.
