A Caughley tea bowl and saucer, c. 1780-90, each moulded with fluting and gilded with a band of scrolling foliage below a gilded rim, unmarked, saucer 14cm; together with a small 18th Century English porcelain cream jug of Newhall type, enamel painted with sprigs of foliage, 5.5cm; a Chinese porcelain vase, enamel painted in a Famille Rose palette with opposing panels of birds and foliage, 21cm, a/f; and a Chinese enamel painted stem cup, a/f. A Renaissance Revival ebonised and enamel mounted table cabinet, probably Vienna, c. 1880-90, with enamel plaques of mythological scenes in gilt metal mounts, the corners with spiral painted enamel columns with tops cast as figures playing musical instruments, the sliding cover with cast finial of a cherub riding a camel, the rectangular base with frieze drawer and moulded plinth, raised on four bracket feet. 36cm by 26cm by 19.5cm
A late Victorian enamel and diamond locket pendant, the circular locket with applied and engraved swirling detail with textured finishing to the reverse, set to the front centre with a single oval mixed cut claw set diamond and black enamelling, suspending from a padlock style clasp and single pendant loop. Glass locket insert lacking. Weight approx 7.1gms. Length approx 3cm. Width approx 2cm. Condition report Diamond weight approx 0.25 carats. Estimated colour I/J Estimated clarity SI3-Pique Overall in good condition with only minor surface scratches and marks throughout, in keeping with general wear. Enamel in very good condition.
An enamel, cultured pearl and diamond brooch, circa 1890-1900, designed to depict a speared fish, the realistic fish with textured metal and grey and white enamelling to depict scales, set to the centre of a brooch bar depicting a spear with cultured pearl end terminal, the spear point set with seven graduating old cut diamonds. Brooch pin fitting. Length approximately 5.5cm. Weight approximately 5.51gms. Condition report The enamelling slightly wearing to the fin of the fish and very slightly to the edges of the bottom of the fish, and some minor surface scratches to the body however not very visible and not detracting from the overall look. The cultured pearl measures approximately 4mm x 4mm Mid cream in colour with yellow overtones. A good lustre with very few natural pits or abrasions. Total weight of the diamonds approximately 0.08 carats. Estimated colour L/M Estimated clarity I 2-3, some Pique. Overall in good condition with only very minor surface marks and abrasions in keeping with general wear.
An enamel and silver pendant, circa 1900, the tapering rectangular drop set to the front and reverse with blue and green enamel detail, suspending on an articulated link to the bottom of a concave shield shaped design mount, the hammered effect mount set throughout the front and reverse with blue and green enamelling, suspending on two articulated links from two oval link chains, joined to the top with two rings attached to a similar oval link chain with bolt ring clasp. Clasp stamped 925. Total length approximately 47cm. Weight approximately 8.86gms. Condition report The enamelling is bright and lively but unfortunately has sections missing, to two edges to the front and one corner and the bottom drop, and numerous sections to the reverse, in particular to the centre and the majority of the perimeter. Some visible surface scratches to the front of the enamel. The drop has some enamel missing to the bottom corners. The bottom loop is slightly bent out of shape. Numerous minor surface scratches to the entirety, however in keeping with general age and wear.
A 19th Century ormolu and enamel mantel clock, of architectural form, applied with three putti and enamelled with foliage and palmette, the two-train movement striking the hours and half hours on a bell, (with winder); together with a pair of gilt metal and enamel two light candelabra, each cast with a bird.
