A mixed group of bronze items comprising: a quantity of fragments of a bronze openwork plaque; two rosette studs; a seal fob with enamel studs; a repoussé plaque with gilding; three strap ends; a triangular openwork pendant; a discoid plaque with spiral; a discoid plaque with two bosses; a finger ring fragment with glass intaglio of a male bust; two bronze linked rings; a length of bronze chain; a plaque with double-headed eagle; a pendant with cruciform finial. 198 grams, 1-49cm (1/2 - 19"). 19th-early 20th century AD. A tall candelabrum with square-section base and claw feet, marble socket and bulbous stem, six radiating arms each attached at two points, with complex scrolled profile and floral socket; stem with black hardstone bulb and scrolled acanthus-leaf finial; the base and arms with polychrome art nouveau champ-levé enamel; probably French workmanship. 6.5 kilograms, 55.5cm (22"). Property of a London collector, acquired early 1990s. [No Reserve] Fair condition, stem distorted, one socket absent.

A mixed group of bronze artefacts comprising: an openwork mount with trefoil knop; a barrel-lock fitting; an enamelled buckle plate; a discoid mount with repousse face, pin to rear; a crucifixion figure from the River Thames at Bankside; a discoid mount with rose motif, pin to rear; a discoid pendant with bearded face within a zigzag border; a finger ring with open lozenge bezel, two biting beasts on the shoulders, found near Cambridge; a discoid mount with geometric motif, pin to rear; a heraldic pendant, shield-shaped with inlaid enamel cross. 46 grams, crucifix: 44 mm (1 3/4"). Property of a Hampshire Gentleman; acquired before 1990; some with old dealer tickets, giving descriptions and findspots, etc. [10] Fair condition.
20th century AD. Silver, part gilt, with enamels. Obv: Belgian crown gilt on blue enamel disc on five-pointed white enamelled star on suburst, with green enamelled wreath suspender. Rev: as obverse but with monogram of script letter L's (for King Leopold) at the centre; with red riboon bearing crossed swords, double pin attachment and card case of issue. 44.07 grams total (with box"). Originally instituted in 1897, in six classes, for honouring those who distinguished themselves in the field of African civilisation (in connection with the Belgian Congo region"). 2nd century AD. A mixed group of plate brooches comprising: one fish-shaped with enamelled scale detailing, hinged pin and catchplate to the reverse; a horseman with inset cells to the horse's chest and flanks, rider's body to accept red enamel fill, sprung pin and catchplate to the reverse; one similar without enamel or pin; a gilt-bronze tutulus disc brooch with pellets to the border, central boss surrounded by five smaller bosses and surmounted by a clubbed knop. 21 grams total, 23 - 45mm (1 - 1 3/4"). Property of a Suffolk lady. Cf. Hattatt, R. Brooches of Antiquity, Oxford, 1987, items 1070, 1177, 1198. [4] Fine condition.

IN THE MANNER OF LOBMEYR; a large blue glass enamel painted and gilt heightened vase held within a brass frame, the shaped top above ovoid main body held by cherubic mounts and domed base with four scrolling supports, height 47cm (af). CONDITION REPORT: There is a "spear" missing from the rim, also a large section which has been broken and glued, a tiny chip to one of the other "spears", also a small chip to the stem of the vase where it sits within the metal frame. The frame itself is rather loose and could benefit from being tightened with some pitting to the brass.
Three late 19th/early 20th century Chinese Famille Rose bowls of varying size, each hand painted in enamel with panels depicting court and garden scenes with alternating floral and ornamental motifs, largest diameter 28.5cm, smallest diameter 19cm, a large Chinese blue and white bowl, painted in underglaze blue with court scene on terrace and with blossoming branches, diameter 27cm (all four restored throughout), also a Chinese Export Canton bowl painted with four figural and floral panels to the inside and outside, diameter 20.5cm (with races of restoration) (5). CONDITION REPORT: The largest and medium Famille Rose bowls and the blue and white bowl have been restored throughout. The smallest Famille Rose bowl has a hairline, approx 6cm and chip to the base. Canton bowl has traces of restoration.
A group of 18th and 19th century Chinese and Japanese plates to include two examples painted in enamels with floral sprays, blue and white example painted with architectural landscapes, a further blue and white example painted with three temple dogs, and a pair of transfer decorated chargers with cafe au lait rim (9). CONDITION REPORT: Architectural landscape example has been reglued. The smaller enamel painted plate has two hairline cracks spreading from rim. The celadon enamel plate has very minor chips and rubbing to the rim. Both transfer decorated chargers have hairlines. THe large Chinese shallow bowl has been reglued throughout.
A set of three Chinese bowls and covers with saucers and spoons, with rice decoration, painted in underglaze blue and with red enamels, also three spare covers, two spare saucers, and two spare spoons (one af). CONDITION REPORT: Some pieces have small chips to the rims, some enamel is rubbed.
A collection of various hallmarked silver enamel decorated souvenir armorial spoons, including "London", Robert Pringle & Sons, London 1912, "Polperro", Shipton & Co Ltd, Chester 1957, also a souvenir spoon with cast bust of William Shakespeare to the finial, George Unite, Birmingham 1900, a group of various hallmarked silver teaspoons and a small group of white metal spoons with decorative finials etc, approx 12.7ozt.
A set of six cased Elizabeth II hallmarked silver gilt coffee spoons with green guilloche enamel to the back of the bowls and with bean finials, Barker Bros Silver Ltd, Birmingham 1955, a further six hallmarked silver coffee spoons of plain form, Sheffield 1946 and a set of silver coffee spoons with matching sugar tongs, Sheffield 1911, both by Cooper Bros & Sons, also a set of four silver pastry forks, approx 7ozt (4).
An 1830s 18ct yellow gold mourning ring, set with hair buckle compartment within a pearl border on black enamel background, the band inscribed "In Memory DJ" within two applied borders to the outside and "My Beloved Husband A Giles Obt.24 Nov 1835 Aged 52 Yrs Not Lost But Gone Before" to the inside.

CONDITION REPORT: Working order.
A 19th century French Rococo Revival clock garniture, the gilt clock decorated with rocailles, foliate scrolls and garlands of flowers and leaves, raised on four scrolling feet to the cast and pierced base, the circular enamel dial set with Roman numerals and with seconds chapter ring, with pierced scroll arms, the eight day movement stamped "LP JAPY 1878", height 35cm and a pair of matching three branch candelabra (3).
A late 19th century French gilt metal eight day mantel clock, the circular enamel dial set with Roman numerals above a coat of arms plaque, surmounted with a chest containing palette and brushes, raised on gilt wooden base, height 39cm. CONDITION REPORT: Losses to the front and also the velvet lining has rubbing.
