A gem set monkey head desk seal,19th century, the naturalistically modelled monkey head, with an oxidised finish with rose cut diamond set eyes, a ruffle style headdress tied with a bow, decorated with turquoise blue enamel, enamelled teeth, pear shaped garnet drop earrings and a collar with a cabochon garnet centrepiece. The head mounted to the top of a tapering cylindrical column with white guilloche enamel to a wavy ground, held in a pierced and engraved gold sleeve decorated with scrolls, to a base with stylised hearts and leaves to a textured ground. A cartouche shaped chalcedony tablet seal engraved with a coat of arms and motto. Tested as approximately 18ct gold, 72mm long
A gold mounted Swiss enamel demi parure, c.1850, the brooch with waisted sides and cut corners, with pierced scrolls between, the enamelled plaque depicting three young ladies in Swiss national costume, contra enamel to read ‘Unterwalden, Berne, Zug’, together with a pair of pendant earrings with detachable pendant drops, each with an oval enamelled plaque top with scrolls below to Continental hinged fittings, the detachable plaque drops each enamelled to depict a young lady in national costume, contra enamel to one reads ‘Vaud’, the other reads ‘Berne’ (3)
A gold archaeological revival fob by Carlo Giuliano, a series of four rectangular plaque links, each with an applied repousse theatrical mask in the Greek and Roman taste, joined with spiral style hinges. Three graduated beads to the top with a trefoil cluster at the bottom. Maker’s mark verso. A later replacement swivel clip to the top, with a later bolt ring to the bottom, with a Victorian matching gold hardstone seal and watch key, both decorated with blue enamel (3) Carlo Giuliano (1831-1895) It is believed Giuliano began work in Naples for the Castellani workshop, before moving to London to open a workshop for Alessandro Castellani. His early archaeological revival work is similar to that of Castellani, with his later Renaissance Revival style jewellery proving extremely popular. A circular ruby, diamond and enamel brooch, c.1910, a central synthetic ruby surrounded by six petals, each set with a pair of rose cut diamonds, mounted to a hexafoil shaped green guilloche ground, with a Swiss cut diamond set to each lobe. White enamel infill with gold detail, to an outer border of peg set pearls. 25mm diameter overall. Tested as approximately 15ct gold

After Jean Penicaud, a French Limoges enamel plaque, in a velvet frame depicting Christ with Saints, 5.75 x 5.5in (14.6 x 14cm), a smaller plaque depicting a female saint in a rocky landscape, on a stand, together with a triptych depicting the flagellation, signed with initials `P C` and dated `1556`.
