A LATE 19TH CENTURY ALABASTER AND GILT METAL MANTEL CLOCK, with foliate and oval surmount inset with an oval porcelain plaque painted with a portrait of a lady, the rectangular case with white enamel dial, Roman numerals, 8 day movement, bell strike, the bell with glued repairs, the lower case with foliate scroll swags and on four knopped feet, mounted on a further worn fabric topped alabaster plinth with gilt mounts and six gilt metal knopped feet, height 41cm x width 26cm, with key and pendulum (Condition report: some areas of chipping to the case edges, the dial has hairlines and damage to the enamel, the bell is cracked and repaired, clock movement moves in case when wound, seen running for a short time but then it stops)
