Early 19th Century enamel patch box, the oval hinged cover with script `A trifle from London. Carlton House`, the panel depicting the mansion with figures in foreground. Interior with mirror panel, blue sides, 5.5cm wide. The Prince Regent commissioned the architect Henry Holland to rebuild the house which was completed at vast expense in 1796 however it was demolished in 1825 and replaced with what is now known as Carlton House Terrace
A hallmarked silver cased JW Benson "The Bank" open face pocket watch, the signed white enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds, with military presentation inscription to Sergeant RW Boughton, by the members of The Sergeants Mess, Queen`s Bays, London 1910, also a carved wooden folding pocket watch stand.
