A 19th century Japanese gilt bronze, Shibayama, cloisonne enamel and lacquer vase, Meiji, lobed ovoid form, six maki-e panels with mother of pearl, horn and ivory decoration, between elephant mask and ring handles, within a gilt and enamelled ground, the lid with a cas finial in the form of an eagle, on a pierced bracketed pedestal foot, signed to the underside, 30.5cm high
A 19th Century gilt brass cased mantel clock the eight day movement by Japy Freres of Paris the circular painted porcelain dial with central river landscape decoration inscribed Ernest Miroy Paris within a chapter ring of Roman numerals over a further painted panel depicting two figures in an interior flanked by further river landscapes raised on lions paw feet and carved giltwood stand CONDITION REPORTS Some light surface scratches. A build up of dust in areas. Accretions. Small areas of tarnishing to the brass. The raised white dot of enamel below the number 11 has partially come away. The gilt wood base has some wear and there are splits to the silk lining on the base. General wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for more details.

A pair of 19th Century Bohemian green glass vases with white enamel plaques decorated with floral sprays and cherubic figures, both mounted on a painted wooden base CONDITION REPORTS Both vases have numerous surface scratches, scuffs, accretions etc. Both have wear to the gilt decoration. One of the vases has substantial damage to the base resulting in areas of loss to both the glass and the enamel and evidence of old repair to that damage. Also the same vase has a chip to the edge of the rim. The second vase also has a smaller chip to the edge of the rim. Both vases have been mounted on wooden bases.
