EARLY 20TH CENTURY SILVER AND GUILLOCHE ENAMEL DRESSING TABLE SET, London marks, comprising five lidded jars, along with a pair of scissors and a needlework box, contained in a carry case, 32cm wide, along with two further silver topped jars, two silver backed brushes and a silver brush back (brush lacking), a silver basket, pin dish and aide memoire, along with a mother of pearl box containing two silver plate topped scent bottles
RAF Smiths Stopwatch dated 1952, with 30 minute counter, the reverse and dial with Broad Arrow marks, 7cm high At the time of cataloguing the stopwatch is in working order, and adjusts correctly, however we sell this as seen without guarantee.Condition report: The stopwatch has minor scratches and signs of wear from use but nothing defacing. There are no damages to the glass or enamel. It does not look like the back or the front have been open in along time as they are seized closed with grime from age. I cannot get either of these open. There are two small scratches to the edge of the stopwatch where someone has attempted to open the front or the back with a knife. These are not to noticeable or defacing. The stopwatch appears to be in working order and adjusts correctly, however we sell this as seen without guarantee.
German Third Reich WWII Hitler Youth dagger and scabbard, the blade marked Rich. Abr. Herder Solingen, RZM M7/18 and dated 1940, 25.5cm longCondition report: The knife has a replacement grip to the non badged side. The enamel badge has some scuffs and a small chip to the lower white pannel. The scabbard has probably been refinished. The leather has cracking and signs of age but has probably be reblacked. The blade has been sharpened several times but is now blunt, the point has been taken off as part of this process. There is some fine pitting in areas.
Victorian police truncheon, painted with V.R. above a coronet, initialled T.S. and dated 1840, 40.5cm longSmall hairline splits to the end the worst of which does not proceed further than the letter R. there is a small chipped or worn patch in to the tip too. The grip is free from splits but has a small area of recent wear to the edge. Dents to the body the worst of which are to the right hand side of the coronet and to the left hand side of the letter T. Scuffing, scratches, and chips to the enamel throughout. The above faults can be seen in the online images.
