Some small nibbles around edge, otherwise no visible damage or repair.
A late 19th century French mantel clock, the 9.5 cm diameter dial with Roman numerals, fitted an eight day movement, stamped CHLES MT/18533, in a gilt brass and champlevé enamel case, with a visible pendulum, flanked by a pair of cherubs holding flaming torches, 44 cm high, on a stand and a dome base, 53 cm high (overall), with a glass dome (a.f.) See inside back cover colour illustration Condition report With champlevé enamel pendulum and a winding key, no back door Report by GH Dome is present but broken. Clock is generally good with the enamel in good condition and no obvious major damages or repairs. Some tarnishing to brass, and some chipping to gilt gesso base. Key and pendulum present. A carriage clock, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, signed Geog Oram & S London, fitted a movement striking on a bell, in a silvered case, 16 cm high (over handle) Condition report Report by GH Enamel face in good condition with both hands present. Some rubbing to maker's name. Silvered case generally reasonable with some marks and blemishes. Small chips to bevelled glass door at the back to the top left. Internally the bell has been broken in half and re-glued. The clock currently isn't working, the balance wheel will not turn, even with a flick of the wrist. Both winders are almost fully wound.
A carriage clock, with repeat, the 5.5 cm diameter enamel dial with Roman numerals above a subsidiary alarm dial, within a brass mask with engraved decoration, fitted an eight day movement, striking on a gong, in an oval brass case, 18 cm high See front cover colour illustration Condition report Report by RB From a local deceased estate, the main dial has the remains of an inscription, which I cannot read, and also a couple of cracks to the dial, but the small dial below looks in good condition, there is a small chip to the bevelled bowed glass to the top left hand corner at the front, and a similar chip to the top left hand corner on the back door, the platform escapement is nice and dirty, with no extra holes, the underside of the clock is as you would expect with a central hole, also stamped A I (?) and 78, the case is generally in good condition although with some wear to the gilding which is maybe a little bit dull, especially to the carrying handle and to the press repeat button. Condition Report: Glass is cracked right across and other cracks across middle of dial.
A Rolex gold cased pocket watch, having 44mm white enamel dial decorated Roman numerals with subsidiary seconds dial, the case hallmarked Birmingham 1920, the movement signed Rolex Lever, Swiss made, stem wind Condition Report: Winds and ticks, dial damaged, case dented and scratched, dust cover engraved initials and dated 1925.
