Fine early 20th Century Waltham 14K gold diamond set full Hunter pocket watch, the tri-colour case finely engraved, one side applied with a vacant cartouche surrounded by flowers, the other with a brilliant cut diamond of 0.10 carat spread approx. surrounded by leaves, the white enamel dial signed WALTHAM with black Roman Numerals and red Arabic numerals and with a subsidiary seconds dial, the case stamped warranted 14ct U.S. ASSAY and No. 46729, the 17 jewel movement with safety pinion and signed P.S. Barlett WALTHAM MASS, together with a fancy gold plated albert and attached a 14K 'IDAHO' fob pendant. Together with a Passport belonging to the original owner a William Henry Willoughby dated 26th Oct. 1920. William Henry Willoughby worked in the St. Austell Clay Works before travelling to America working at the Original and the Stuart Mine in Idaho. He then moved to South Africa mining diamonds before contacting Miners Titus and then moving back to Cornwall and bequeathing this watch to his family and by decent.
