It has not been tested. There is not a key. The outer travelling case has some typical wear. Additionally the finger hole for releasing the catch to the lid has been enlarged. Below this a piece of card has been let in to the case horizontally.

An Early 20th Century French Carriage Timepiece and a French Mahogany Cased Mantel Timepiece the carriage timepiece with white enamel dial with Roman numerals, to the eight day single train movement, contained in brass and bevelled glass case of shaped outline on bun feet, 5ins high, the mahogany timepiece retailed by Mappin and Webb Ltd, the 3.5ins diameter dial with Arabic numerals contained in arch top case inlaid with stringings and oval fan motif, 9.25ins highCondition reportCarriage clock - enamel dial with hairline cracks at 9 o'clock (stained) and 11 o'clock. Some wear to the gilt finish on case. Key present. Door loose. This has not been tested. Mappin & Webb mantel clock - case is in good original condition. It may have been repolished. The movement has not been inspected nor has it been tested.

The hallmark is not British, it is marked 18ct and showing a further foreign mark. The enamel work appears to be in good condition and free from any obvious sign of damage or previous repair. The centre coral cabochon stone is free from any obvious sign of damage or cracks. The centre stone is securely mounted with all claws being present and secure. Likewise the surrounding diamonds. The clasp functions correctly. The box is the original box and it is marked Port Royal, Naples, Florida.

A Late George III Mahogany Cased Mantel Clock by H.J.Tymms of London, the 8ins diameter painted and slightly domed metal dial with Roman numerals, to the eight day two train movement with engraved bordered rear plate and striking on a bell, contained in figured mahogany dome top case, inlaid with ebony stringings to front, with brass stop fluted quarter columns to sides, leaf moulded and ring handles on four gilt brass ball feet, 17ins high Note: H.J. Tymms recorded working London 1795-1811Condition ReportThe exterior of the clock appears to be in good original condition showing some cracks and splits to the veneer commensurate with age and usage. The fluted columns are both in good condition, likewise all the brasswork appears original and present, likewise the feet. The clock shows no obvious sign of previous damage or repair. Both side frets are in good condition however there is some repair to the veneer on the left hand side fret. The glass to the front appears to be intact and free from any obvious signs of chips or cracks. The hinge shows some slight sign of aged repair but functions correctly. The locking key to the front cover is not present, however the cover can be opened. The dial shows some hairline cracks to the enamel, the most obvious being at the 2 o'clock position and is approximately 2ins in length. Likewise a further hairline crack at the 7 o'clock position approximately 1ins and several chips to the outer rim of the dial. The baton numerals at the 12 o'clock position are worn with some wear in general commensurate with age. The hands appear original with the pointer to the centre brass hour dial for the alarm function. It should be noted this function has not been tested. To the rear of the clock there appears to be some slight aged repair to the rear door. The rear hinges do appear to be original and function correctly. The pendulum is present. The mechanism appears to be complete and clear but should be regarded as untested. Overall an honest example. The base of the clock measures 12ins x 6.25ins and stand 17ins tall, as catalogued.

Purser of Lambeth, the 12ins white enamel dial with Roman numerals, to the eight day fusee movement with tapered plates and heavy bulbous turned pillars, contained in mahogany drop case with cast brass bezel and domed glass, and with turned incurved outer moulding, shaped wings and angled base, 20ins high Note: William Purser recorded working Lambeth & Holborn 1778Condition ReportThis appears a good quality early wall clock in basically sound condition. The dial appears to have been cleaned, it is without damage and the hands would appear to be original. The bezel is good quality and the movement again is good quality with heavy brass plates and heavy turned pillars, the movement appears to have been cleaned in the last 10/15 years. The case appears good quality of an attractive colour and patination, the bezel is all intact and it has a solid front to the lower drop case, the angled door to the base would appear to be original but is a little scuffed and marked around the key and the side door appears to be all in place. It has some minor attention. It is complete with both the small key for the bezel and the winding key.

Fob watch balance spring in tact. The main spring is fully wound but the watch is not running. The dial is clean and free from cracks. Case is heavily worn.
