A gilt and lacquered Brass and black Marble mounted figural Mantel Timepiece, the drum shaped case surmounted by a spread eagle and flanked by classical female figures reading, front a large single volume, the plinth with further cast and applied floral and foliate swags centred with a mask of Pan, raised on claw feet, to a cast bezel and enamel dial (repaired) of 3 ½”, with outside minute track and Arabic quarters, signed Vulliamy, with blued steel moon hands, to a circular Brass single chain fuse movement, with anchor escapement, signed to the black back plated Vulliamy – London, height 12”
