An early 20th century continental silver and enamel box, octagonal with alternating panels of engine turned decoration and translucent pale orange enamel within white linear borders, with a hinged cover at one end and applied reed and ribbon borders, gilt interior, maker’s mark ‘LA’ (script)(?) struck twice, and a ‘crown’ mark, probably Austro-Hungarian c.1900, 8cms long – 2.35oz.

A rare late Victoria/Edwardian silver art nouveau brooch in the form of a butterfly, decorated in translucent turquoise enamel over an engraved ground, the head set with a small rose-cut diamond, gold pin and hook at the back, maker's mark only struck once, by Child & Child, London 1891-1916, 3.2cms wide. Note: Child & Child, The London Firm of Jewellers from 1880 specialised initially in the manufacture of renaissance style pieces but became more well known for their art nouveau and Edwardian jewels, typically made in silver. From 1891-1916 (when the firm closed) they were located at 35 Alfred Place, Kensington.
An early Victorian silver snuffbox, rectangular with engine turning and reeded sides, inscribed ‘Will Wallace, presented by the…1838’, gilt interior, by Edward Smith, Birmingham 1837; an Italian silver model of a vintage car; two modern gilt-metal and enamel boxes; and a Victorian plated vesta/sovereign case, monogrammed, the snuff box 6.5cms long - 3.7oz weighable silver.
A miniature silver wager cup in the form of a lady in a crinoline dress holding aloft a swivel cup, with pseudo marks; a cast silver and green enamel place card holder with a gamebird surmount, by the Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Co Ltd, London 1913; and a silver menu card holder, rectangular with Minton porcelain insert, by Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1904, the latter 8.2cms high – 2.45oz weighable silver. An early 20th century Austo-Hungarian silver and enamel box, oval with translucent gold enamel over an engine-turned ground, the cover set with an oval plaque, engraved with a monogram ‘AF, below a crown, by Georg Adam Scheid, Vienna 1900-1920; together with a Victorian silver gilt vesta case of rectangular outline with engine-turning, a vacant trefoil cartouche on the cover and inscribed ‘JENNER & KNEWSTUB’S PATENT CLASP 33 ST JAMES’S ST & 66 JERMYN ST’ at one end, by Henry William Dee, London 1866, the latter 5.7cms long - 4.3oz. A George V ten-piece silver dressing table set, decorated in translucent pink enamel over a guilloche ground to include: two hair brushes, two clothes brushes, a hand mirror, an oval jewellery box, a mounted cut glass smelling salts bottle, a mounted cut glass powder jar, a mounted cut glass toilet water bottle, and a circular photograph frame with wooden easel back, by Albert Carter, Birmingham 1923-1926 (some of the maker’s marks overstruck by the mark of Walker & Hall), the frame 11.7cms diameter. Fabergé: an early 20th century Russian two-colour gold mounted enamel parasol handle of plain tapering form with repeating leaf borders and a floral boss at the end, decorated in translucent amethyst coloured enamel over an engine-turned chevron ground, workmaster's of Henrik Wigstrom, St Petersburg 1903-1910, (workmaster’s mark, ‘56AP’ standard mark and scratched inventory No.15097), 4.7cms long.
A late 19th century Russian silver and cloisonné enamel small jug of vase form with a shaped rim, scroll handle and flaring circular foot, the whole decorated in blues, mauve, white, green foiled, red scrollwork and flowers, with vacant shield cartouche on one side, assay master Anatoly Artsibashov, maker possibly Pavel Samsonov, Moscow 1894, 15.7cms high – 7.1oz.
