Camille Naudot (1862-1938), a rare porcelain and openwork enamel coffee cup and saucer, c.1900, decorated with cornflowers, the blue petals and green leaves picked out in openwork coloured enamels, highlighted in gilt, each base with gilt ‘CN’ monogram to base, and incised ‘CN 399’, the saucer 12.7cm diameter Camille Naudot (1862-1938) was the son of a porcelain merchant. He trained at the Ecole de Sèvres and succeeded his father about 1889. He specialised in the rice-grain decoration inspired by Chinese porcelain, of which this piece, is a magnificent example. The pierced openwork is filled with transparent glaze, the décor is heightened by enamel on the body and relief gold highlights. A pair of Sevres porcelain plates, c.1880, part of a specially commissioned service made for the French Embassy in London, each painted in enamel colours with hedgerow flowers, the three colour blue border richly gilt decorated with trailing flowers and the monogram RF [Republic Français], one plate with ‘ER’ decorator’s monogram for Emile-Bernard Rejoux (1832-1893), green printed marks S73 and S75 and red printed decor marks for 1880, 24.5cm diametercf. a similar plate from the same service in the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, accession no. 181-1881. Ferdinand Berthoud, a Louis XVI style ormolu mounted white marble portico quarter repeating timepiece in ornate case mounted with figures of classical warriors, with enamelled Roman dial and signed eight day movement striking on a bell, 36cm wide, 14cm deep, 55cm high Overall looks to be in good order, ormolu slightly matted with some light oxidisation spots, marble a little dusty with one or two tiny nicks at the edges, enamel dial in good order, movement lacking a pendulum and with a replacement pull for the repeat.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place. A pair of 19th century Viennese enamel and silver mounted candlesticks by Herman Boehm, Vienna, circa 1867-1874 the integrated drip pans painted with delicate scrolling foliage on cylindrical nozzles painted with gods, the cylindrical columns interrupted by chased and enamelled collars with terms in tricorn hats, raised on inverted tulip bases, each painted with four classical scenes, including Minerva and a Muse, Hercules slaying a Centaur, Mars and Venus, the foot with floral and geometric champleve, 23cm high Both in somewhat neglected condition, but beneath the dirt look to be in fair to good order, one with some scratching to the enamel around the sconce which is slightly bent out of shape, a further chip just beneath the sconce to one side of the stem, metalwork heavily oxidised but traces of enamelling showing on the raised parts, main body of the enamel looks to be good although some of it is covered in old melted candle wax, the other candlestick with wax again covering the sconce but certainly some loss of enamelling around the sconce, otherwise looks to be complete although the wax does cover some of the lower areas, foliate scroll enamelling to the undersides, equally looking to be in fair to good order.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place. A late 19th century French ormolu and champleve enamel four glass mantel clock of architectural form, with eight day movement stamped A & N Paris and mercury pendulum, 24cm wide, 15cm deep, 37cm high Honest untouched condition, the ormolu now rather matted and oxidised particularly to the upper surface areas, enamelling looks good, dial looks original but now oxidised, movement in good order, going but not tested for timekeeping.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place. A late 19th century French gilt-speltre mantel clock with figural mounts depicting an artist & his work, a painted porcelain portrait miniature above the 3” dial having enamel Roman numerals & eight-day Carlhian & Corbiere of Parise movement, on shaped giltwood plinth, 34cm wide x 30cm high x 12.5cm deep over-all. (slight faults/restoration).
Michael Lloyd (British, b. 1950) Silver-cased carriage clock, hallmarks for Edinburgh, date letter S, probably 1992, the clock fixed to the lower case with brass and enamel dial, domed, maker marks MKL, detachable cover, the case decorated with impressed fruit and blossom in the style of Liberty, seal mark to underside, 14cm high, silver weight of detachable cover 292g, gross weight of case with fitted clock approximately 510g.CONDITION REPORT: There is no glass dial cover. One of the hands is broken off, but present in between the dial and the casing. Not currently running.
Robin Banks (British, 1931 - 2007) Enamel on copper charger with silvered abstract decoration on black ground, all over abstract ground to the underside, 39cm diameter.CONDITION REPORT: Visible age-related staining to the interior and exterior, more obvious to the copper on the reverse. Fading to the decoration on the reverse. Good detail to the obverse.
Hayashi Kodenji (1831 - 1915) Fine Japanese cloisonné enamel bird tree vase, Meiji 1868 - 1912, worked in polychrome enamel and silver wire with trailing wisteria above and below flowering shrubs (kikyo) and Chinese bellflower reserved on a dark blue ground, silver rim and foot, with gilt bronze interior and base, lozenge device mark to the underside for the Hayashi Kodenji workshop Nagoya, unsigned, 24cm high.CONDITION REPORT: Additional close up images have been taken, please take these into account along with the condition report.There are minor scratches to the blue ground. Minor dinks to the rim. Age-related staining and what looks like some losses to the gilt interior. Looking through a glass we can see minor losses to the decoration from the neck to the shoulders, with age, the main decoration is in good condition. Again, minor small losses to areas. We can see small holes to the flowers, looks like small losses to the enamel. Minor scratches to the underside.

Pair of Crown Devon Fieldings 'Dragon' lustre vases of ovoid form, decorated with colourful polychrome enamels, with gilt rim, on a blue ground, pattern no. 2069, approximately 23cm high. (2)CONDITION REPORT: No obvious chips to the rims when feeling with a finger. Slightly raised area below one rim. Looking through a glass we can see minor losses to the gilt on the rim, raised blacked mark to the rim also, could be a stain but not convinced its a restoration mark. Again some fairly minor losses to the enamel, mainly to the purple and gilt. Good detail to the exterior. Generally good detail to the dragons, with minor losses present. The raised stones appear to be in good condition. Very minor crackling to the glaze/enamels. Losses to the glaze on the underside with some crazing also to the underside.
Two Bilston enamel boxes, c. 1790, inscribed to the cover 'A Pinch of This Deserves a Kifs', the other with a boy carrying straw, both with mirrored insets on yellow enamel, 4.5cm diameter. (2)CONDITION REPORT: Both covers open and snap shut. There is age-related pitting/staining with scratches and small losses to the mirrored insects. Small hairline crack to the top of the main box. Staining and fading to the glaze and small losses to the enamel on both.

He was connected to the Heide group of artists, which included Arthur Boyd, John Perceval, and Albert Tucker. Nolan often depicted key figures from Australian history, including outlaws such as Ned Kelly, and desert landscapes of the Outback.
