A MID 19TH CENTURY FUSEE RAILWAY CLOCK the figured mahogany case with scroll carved ears, ebony strung inlay and moulded surround having an applied enamel plate numbered 62 to the front and an oval brass plate to the side inscribed LM & S No. 9516. The 14" painted dial with Roman numerals fronting an eight-day fusee movement with shaped plates and anchor escapement, originally from GWR and L&NWR joint lines (Birkenhead Joint Committee) around 1840 - this clock is illustrated in Railway Clocks by Ian P. Lyman, page 131 Fig. 4.9771cm highThe clock is in very good original condition. The case has no losses or splits, the dial has the original paint, the movement, which is original to dial, has been cleaned in recent years and is in working condition but we can not guarantee mechanical parts. Comes with the locking key, winding key and original pendulum.

One side glass panel has a chip in the corner. The dial has no chips or cracks and the movement looks clean and functions correctly, striking and repeating the correct hours. It has its original lever escapement, we cannot guarantee mechanical parts.

DELAGRAVE'46cm highThe movement is running and striking but we would reccomend a service. The dial has no cracks but has restored chips to the winding holes. The outer dial rotates correctly. The movement strikes the correct hours. The case is dirty but in good condition with no cracks or damage, just some very minor chips to the edge of the base. The drum shaped top is detached from the base and missing two fixing screws that hold it in place. The white porcelain plaque behind the compensated mechanism on the pendulum bob is damaged.

A SET OF 1930’S CASED SILVER AND ENAMEL COCKTAIL STICKS AND SILVER HORSESHOE NAPKIN RINGS the cocktail sticks in faux shagreen case, the cased napkin rings dated 1946, together with a silver cruet set and a silver handled pickle fork (4)The horse shoes are in good condition, the enamel cockeral pins are in good condition with no damage, the case is worn in places.
