Rare 1916 Hallmarked Silver and Enamel Guards Machine Gun Battalion Officers Cap Badge, fine example made by Jennings & Co (J & Co) with hallmarks for Birmingham 1916. Good condition blue and red enamel centre to the badge and dark patina to the silver star. Two large lug fittings to the reverse. Very good example of a scarce cap badge.

WW2 Polish 16th Field Regiment 2nd Polish Armoured Division Battle Dress Blouse, good example of a 1944 dated 1940 pattern battle dress with rank insignia to the shoulder straps for a sergeant. Bullion embroidered POLAND nationality shoulder title above bullion embroidered Polish 2nd Corps formation sign and bullion embroidered 2nd Armoured division formation sign. The other arm has bullion embroidered POLAND nationality title above bullion embroidered 8th army formation sign. To the collar are enamel green over black pennons and metal Polish 2nd corps badge above breast pocket. Interior of the battle dress has the original tailors label with 1944 date and ink WD stamp with date letter “M”. Some damage to the collar pennons but otherwise good condition overall.
Polish Independence Cross with Award Diploma Citation, fine example of the bronze and enamel award without swords, housed in its original red card box of issue with gilt tooled illustration of the award to the lid. Comes complete with its original rolled diploma citation awarding the medal to Michal Ludwik Podgorski. (2 items)
WW2 German SS Officers 1936 Pattern Chained Dress Dagger, black ebony grip with inserted eagle and enamel SS runes insignias. Matching un-marked nickel grip mounts. Housed in its original scabbard with just minor chips to the blackened finish. Attached to the scabbard are a complete set of hanging chains with SS rune acceptance stamps to the reverse. Dark patina to the hanging chains. Attached to the chains end clip is aluminium “D” ring and black leather loop strap. Correct un-marked officers double edged blade with motto “Meine Ehre heist Treue”. Some light wear and staining to the blade. The blade measures 21 ¼ cms, overall 37cms. Couple of small repairs to the grip and some loss to the scabbard but overall a good example of a chained SS officers dress dagger.
Third Reich NSKK Dress Dagger by Haco Berlin, deep brown wooden grip with enamel SA device and nickel silver eagle, nickel silver top and lower grip mounts. Housed in its original scabbard. Blade with “Alles fur Deutschland” motto and HACO Berlin makers mark. Blade shows some wear, scabbard missing hanging ring and evidence of restoration to the blackened finish. Blade 22cms, overall 37cms.

Post 1902 Royal Marine Light Infantry Officers Home Service Helmet Plate, universal pattern officers helmet plate with crown replacing top arm, laurel spray with anchor and silvered strung bugle to the bottom and scroll with Gibraltar to the top. Pierced circlet with motto “PER MARE PER TERRAM” set upon blue enamel backing. Silvered globe to the centre of the bade. Three lug fittings to the reverse. We believed that the crown was changed from Victorian once Edward VII took the throne.
Rare Pre-1857 Indian Army 49th Bengal Native Infantry Officers Shoulder Belt Plate, superb example of an officers gilt rectangular plate with silver overlay in the form of a oakleaves wreath with strap having regimental details, centre Roman numerals XLIX set upon blue enamel. Above centre is silvered strung bugle and lower part has scroll with “ARRACAN”. Reverse with two studs and hook fittings. Complete with the original leather backing.
Third Reich Frauenschaft Enamel Badge, large type example with pin back fixing to the reverse and marked “GES GESCH”; Female RAD service brooch with fitting to the reverse and a selection of Third Reich rally and WHW badges in various conditions, some missing fittings to the reverse. (15 items)
