The Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and St George, CMG, Companion's neck badge, silver gilt and enamel, in case of issue and corresponding documents Eustace Hubert Beilby Gibbs, 3rd Baron Wraxall, KCVO, CMG (1929-2017) succeeded his brother, Richard Gibbs, 2nd Baron Wraxall, on 19 July 2001. He was appointed to the Order of St Michael and St George as a Companion in the 1982 Birthday Honours.The Order of St Michael and St George was instituted by the Prince Regent, later King George IV, in 1818, and is awarded to those who rendered important services abroad, or in the Commonwealth. The enamelled centre of the medal depicts St George fighting the dragon to the front, and St Michael conquering Satan to the reverse
British Red Cross Society, Honorary Life Member's badge, gilt and enamel, cased; Order of St John, neck badge and lady's breast badge, in non conforming case; France, Orléans, Joan of Arc, presentation medal, silvered bronze, bust of Joan of Arc left, rev. city arms, in Monnaie de Paris box, as issued CATALOGUE NOTES: The present medals of the Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem were probably awarded to Annie Allen Cunard, wife of Arthur Lawley, 6th Baron Wenlock, who was not only appointed Dame Grand Cross of the British Empire (GBE), but also Dame of Grace of the Order of St John. This chivalric Order was chartered by Queen Victoria in 1888, but traces its origins back to the Knights Hospitaller, whose activity is noted as early as the 11th century. Its mission to prevent and relieve sickness and injury, and to act to enhance the health and well-being of people anywhere in the world is known worldwide.The Red Cross Society badge may have belonged to Annie Lawley's daughter, the Hon Ursula Lawley, wife of George Gibbs, 1st Baron Wraxall, who served as a VAD in the First World War and remained involved with the Red Cross long after. The present medal was likely awarded to Eustace Beilby Gibbs, 3rd Baron Wraxall, during his time Her Majesty's Vice-Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps during the 1980s

The present medal and breast star were awarded to Annie Allen Ellen Lawley (née Cunard), Baroness Wenlock, GBE (1863-1944). Lawley was one of the first women to be awarded this honour in 1917, only just after its institution, the same year as Mary of Teck, wife of King George V
