A late-19th /early-20th century ladies white-metal cased (marked 935) Fob Watch, the white enamel dial with blue Roman numerals and signed 'Fred. Knight & Co., Limited, 13 Albion Street, Leeds' and all within an ornate gilt decorated border, the back of the case engraved with flower heads and scrolls around a vacant shield-shaped cartouche
A rare mid-18th century Chinese circular porcelain Disc, one side decorated in famille-rose enamels with a mother and child (the mother possibly wearing a crown, now rubbed) against a background of Chinese buildings and water, the other side depicted with European figures (barrel makers) against a ground depicting further trees, buildings, water etc.; some damage, glaze crazing and rubbing of enamels, 6.25cm diameter CONDITION REPORT: Although there are no chips, pieces away or major damage, the enamel decoration has rubbed in places (see images) and upon close inspection there is crazing to the glaze.
A 19th century style ebonised table cabinet decorated with numerous painted enamel plaques depicting various mythological scenes, predominantly muses and allegories, the largest depicting an allegory of painting after Francois Boucher, 10 x 13.5cm, with a foliate scroll painted enamel column with a figural gilt metal finial, surmounted with a figure of cherub seated upon a lion, with pair of doors enclosing three small drawers above a base drawer, on four square section feet, height 35cm, width 26.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Areas of wear to the surface mainly to the edges such as rubbing or flaking to the ebonised layer, areas of minor dints and scratches, some small losses to the corners of the base, the top section above sarcophagus dome and one of the column capitals need reattaching to main body, few plaques with hairlines cracks, majority of gilt metal detailing with surface dirt and tarnish, few losses to applied gilt corner decorations, handles of drawers missing, key present.
WILLIAM HUTTON & SONS LTD; a cased set of six Edward VII hallmarked silver Arts and Crafts style teaspoons with blue and green enamelled stylised floral finials, London 1903, length 11cm, approx 3.8ozt. CONDITION REPORT: Lower grooves have all lost enamel if originally present. One spoon with half of upper groove enamel lost, otherwise some very small nibbles to enamel. Silver bodies with general wear throughout.
TURNER & SIMPSON; three sets of six Elizabeth II hallmarked silver gilt and guilloche enamel decorated coffee spoons to include a floral decorated example, Birmingham 1967, combined approx 6ozt (18). CONDITION REPORT: Three out of six of pink guilloche enamel decorated spoons with major areas of losses to enamel to underneath of the bowl, one of the floral decorated spoons with areas of losses to underneath of the bowl and to both sides of the stem, the variously coloured set: orange spoon with area of loss to underneath of the bowl and the purple is bent.
A collection of variously hallmarked silver regimental commemorative spoons with examples for the London Scottish (S Africa 1900-02), Notts & Derby Sherwood Foresters, Cameron Highlanders, Royal Guernsey Militia, etc, and an enamel example for 'Morpeth Grammar School Cadet Unit', also silver plated examples, silver approx 6.1ozt.
ALBERT CARTER; a George VI hallmarked silver and engine turned enamel rectangular cigarette case, Birmingham 1948, 8.4 x 7.7cm, approx 3.5ozt, with pouch sleeve. CONDITION REPORT: The enamel is ok with only very small nibbles to the very corners with one area of uneven finish (see image); otherwise minor surface wear commensurate with age.
A small collectors' lot comprising two pairs of field glasses, one with engine turned tortoiseshell coloured enamel detail, two pairs of opera glasses, a wooden handled manual cutting/carving tool, a hand painted heart shaped papier-mâché trinket box, a smaller modern ceramic trinket box and three glass paperweights, two signed for Caithness.
HENRY MATTHEWS; a Victorian hallmarked silver photo frame with repoussé foliate scroll detail and velvet lined back, Birmingham 1899, 16.2 x 15.6cm, also seven variously hallmarked silver souvenir spoons (9). CONDITION REPORT: Frame: front with general wear and a few minor dents, back lacking stand. Spoons: one broken, losses to enamel where applicable, general wear throughout.
A group of collectors' items including propelling pencils with a guilloche enamel decorated example and three yellow metal examples, a boxed set of propelling pencil and fountain pen with 14ct yellow gold nib, a simulated shagreen box, a group of evening purses to include three mesh examples (one silver, hallmarked for Birmingham 1911), a bead work example and two vintage compacts.
A mixed lot of costume jewellery including Wedgwood jasperware cufflinks, a yellow metal and enamel pendant and a Victorian hallmarked silver pendant with football player bright cut decoration, Constantine & Floyd, Birmingham 1890, also a collection of gentleman's wristwatch including a Pulsar stainless steel backed manual wind example.
ROSSEL & SONS; an early 20th century 18ct yellow gold full hunter key wind pocket watch, the circular dial set with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, number 88529, diameter 4.5cm, and a further Victorian hallmarked silver open faced example by J W Reeley & Sons, movement number 79389, the case hallmarked for Chester 1897, diameter 5.5cm, on leather strap with multi key, also a brass and enamel Lancashire Red Rose badge (3). CONDITION REPORT: One gold watch, dust cover is unmarked. We do not sell watches based on their scrap value so no weights are given.
A 19th century French brass cased carriage clock, the rectangular gilt metal foliate scroll engraved face set with circular enamel dial with Roman numerals and inscribed 'Calliburt & Booth, Paris', number 245, height 12.5cm, with leather case and key. CONDITION REPORT: Numerous spreading hairlines to the dial. Not currently running. The left hand winding mechanism has no tension and will require attention.
A 20th century French brass carriage clock, the rectangular enamel face set with circular chapter ring with Roman numerals, height 11.5cm, with earlier associated case, and a mid-20th century Swiss travelling clock (2). CONDITION REPORT: The travelling clock runs but timekeeping has not been tested. the rear cover does not shut. Carriage clock does not run and feels overwound. The face has two areas of hairlines at the top. Dirt throughout, will need attention, case heavily worn.
A late 19th century French gilt metal and alabaster detailed mantel clock surmounted with figure of huntsman with a greyhound, the circular enamel dial set with Roman numerals, on fitted base, width 35cm, and an early 20th century 'Goblin' electric timepiece (2). CONDITION REPORT: The dial is cracked and af, there are numerous splits to the gilt detail of clock body and base, the figure's right foot is cracked at heel, the dog is quite loose, rubbing to the gilt finish, general surface wear throughout.
A 19th century French figural gilt metal mantel clock on rectangular marble base, the circular enamel dial set with Arabic numerals, with Samuel Marti movement, number 947572, width 27cm. CONDITION REPORT: The dial with areas of discolouration and spotting, the applied detail on the left swide has been lost, the front left foot is slightly loose, rubbing to the finish on metalwork, general wear throughout.
A pair of Victorian green satin glass table lustres with lobed rims and garland and floral motif decorated sides, with ovoid stems above stepped circular bases, each suspending ten prisms, height 35cm. CONDITION REPORT: Generally in good condition only with some surface dirt and minor ware such as rubbing or flaking to gilt/enamel decoration, prisms also in good condition, some with nibbles to edges and tips.

A mixed lot of Oriental items to include a Japanese charger painted in enamels with two peacocks to centre and further flora and fauna, underglaze and stamped character marks to base, diameter 37cm (af), also a Yixing style teapot, a Dog of Fo carved soapstone seal, a white metal temple token, carved jade fish pendant/charm, enamel painted snuffbox (af), etc. CONDITION REPORT: Charger has been broken in two and crudely glued back together with further numerous chips throughout, snuff bottle has had large chip to the top and has lost its stopper and further chips to the enamel.
