A Victorian coral, diamond and enamel locket pendant, the oval shaped locket with applied lozenge shaped panel to cover, set with diamond shaped coral cabochons and rose cut diamonds within a blue enamel border, opening to reveal two transparent glazed apertures, 35mm x 27mm, upon a gold coloured bail, weight 15.2gmsCR; This locket has not been tested for gold pendant and is not hallmarked.All stones are present, no cracks, chips or losses to the coral or the diamonds, minor scratching and wear only. Several areas of loss to the enamel, heavy scratching and wear. The applied lozenge is slightly loose in its setting, wobbling slightly. Heavy scratching to the front an reverse. Some light denting around the edges of the pendant. Moderate wear/thinning to the pendant bail, but the locket does seem secure on the bail. No splitting or signs of repair. Cover opens and closes smoothly, and appears secure when closed, though does not sit completely flush. Glazed compartments to interior are in good order, no cracks chips or losses. Settings in good order, contents secure.

Note: Private George Archibald Honiatt, served with the RMLI, 2nd RM Battn RN Division and was killed in action 13th November 1916 aged 19, and is commemorated at Thiepval Memorial France; his brother Private Reginald Jack Honiatt served with the 16th Bn Middlesex Regt and was killed in action 29th April 1916 aged 23 and is buried at Forceville Communal Cemetery France. £200-300

Laliq',The clear glass bottle moulded with vertical lines heightened with complimenting coloured enamel, the elaborate stopper of cassis colour moulded with pendant stems laden with blackcurrants, with white staining on the stopper, 11.5 cm highThere are some minute abrasions on the neck rim, underside of the foot rim and on the stopper and an occasional fine scratch. There are also some tiny open bubbles and inclusions in the glass from the making process. There is a tiny nick/open bubble on the edge of the shoulder on the stopper shank and on the end of the tiara stopper. The white staining is a little faded. Overall in good condition.

Henri Jacot, Paris, a brass carriage clock: the eight-day duration movement having a silvered platform lever escapement and striking the hours and half-hours on a gong with the backplate stamped with the trademark for Henri Jacot of Paris, a parrot on a perch, along with the serial number 11387, which would give a date of manufacture for circa 1898, the rear of the dial plate stamped with the Jacot poinçon showing the various exposition awards including Paris 1889, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, blued steel spade hands and typical Jacot inner ring, the brass Corniche case having a three-bale handle, with the original numbered key, height 18cm handle up, 15cm handle down. * Biography Henri Jacot, born Fontaines, Switzerland in 1797, was a pioneer of carriage clock manufacture with his Paris workshop at 31, Rue Montmorency (previously numbered 25)opening in 1820. Following his death in 1868 he was succeeded by his nephew Albert Jacot who went on to commercialise the business and it was during this period that this clock was made.
