An ormolu mounted marble garniture de cheminee, 19th c, the clock with drum shaped case topped by seated Minerva, white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals and pierced giltmetal hands, eight day French movement striking on a bell, stamped C.M., numbered 145458, the case applied inset wreaths, foliage and trophies, scrolling corbels flanking the breakfront base on wreath cast feet, the garniture urns with three scrolling 'rose' candle arms, the urnular bodies with ram's head masks and leafy sabot with hoof feet linked by foliate pendants, incurved triangular lappet cast base, on conforming plinth with similar feet, clock 38cm h, garniture urns 30cm h (3) Minor faults, generally good, some wear to ormolu
