A 19th Century mahogany cased long case clock, the eight day movement with enamelled and painted arched dial with sun and moon phase, the chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals enclosing a subsidiary seconds' dial and date aperture, inscribed "Jas Slade Trowbridge", 50.5 cm wide x 23.5 cm deep x 209 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Unknown if working. Case tilts forward dramatically. There are various repairs to the case where the veneers/wood have cracked/come off. Has clearly been re-polished. Some significant cracks to the top left hand side of the hood. The top centre finial is missing. Splits to the back boards. Two weights and pendulum present. Some fading/staining to the woodwork, some signs of old worm filled. There are more cracks to the top of the base section. The face has crazing throughout and some scratches to the enamel, has been touched up in places. Wear and tear conducive with age and use, has clearly been over-hauled at some point - see images for more details
