A brass circular plaque the centre an enamel disc depicting an astronaut walking on the moon, surrounded by the inscription 'For your contribution to the first manned lunar landing 1969 - NASA - MSC', the outer rim with relief vignettes of spacecraft. Diameter 4¾in. (12.07cm) Provenance: January 2001, Rarethings Estate Sales and Auctions, Estate of Charles M. Grant, Houston, Texas, where purchased by the current owner.
1933-1945 German Third Reich Sports Badges. (4) 1938 German Third Reich, German Hunting Association, 50 Year Commemorative badge, white metal and green enamel disc inscribed, '50 Jahre - Deutsche Jaegerschaft Ostpreussen'. Maker's mark 'H. Wernstein - Juna'; a bronze SA Sports badge, with flat, straight pin, maker's mark for E. Schneider; a DLR Sports badge, bronze oval badge centred with entwined letters 'DLR' surrounded by a wreath of oak-leaves. Hollow back with flat, straight pin. Maker's mark 'H. Wernstein - Juna'; and a German Third Reich equestrian badge, a rider on jumping horse surrounded by oak leaves above the letter 'R'. Flat straight pin, maker's mark, 'L.Chr.Lauer - Nurnberg Berlin - Gesetzlich Geschutzt'. (4) Hermann Göring was appointed as Reichsforst und Jägermeister (National Forestry and Hunting Master) in 1933.
1916 GPO Dublin, wall clock. A mahogany, roundhead cased, 8-day, pendulum and fusee, commercial timepiece by Astral, Coventry. The 15-inch white enamel dial with 'General Post Office - Dublin' in black lettering. The movement's back-plate stamped with Astral's Coventry trademark. 20 x 20 x 7in. (50.80 x 50.80 x Literature: John Glanville and William Wolmuth, Clockmaking in England and Wales in the Twentieth Century, Crowood, Ramsbury, 2015. Astral was a trademark of H. Williamson Ltd. who opened their Coventry clock works, where this clock was made, in 1910. There was an extensive refurbishment of the General Post Office Dublin in the years running up to 1916, which concluded with the reopening of the public areas a few weeks before Easter 1916. These public offices and main building of the General Post Office were destroyed in the Rising in 1916. The GPO was officially reopened in 1929 and the clocks supplied for the refitted buildings had 'An Post'' enamelled on the dial and an 'SE', Saorstat na hEireann logo on the dial.

Maker's mark ''C. Poellath - Schrobenhausen'. (2) 2¼ x 1¾in. (5.72 x 4.45cm)

CLARICE CLIFF - A stunningly rare Clarice Cliff 'Applique Windmill' pattern plaque, produced from 1930-1931. This piece has a rare 'Wavy' edge & measures 12" wide, with 2 windmills & river view. Beautiful strong colours throughout, fully stamped to the rear for the Clarice Cliff Bizarre range. Plate is in as found condition, so has not been cleaned. Overall excellent condition, with some minor scratches to some enamel, but with no chips, cracks or signs of previous repair. A fantastic, must have piece for any serious Clarice Cliff collector!
