*Poland, Republic (1918-1939), Order of Virtuti Militari, Silver Merit Cross, Fifth Class, c.1920, in silvered metal, gilt and enamel, reverse numbered ‘1186’ on lower limb of cross, 39mm width, on original home-made ribbon, a little wear to silvering and enamels, good very fine. Sold with small card stating that this medal was awarded to Wladyslaw Szpakowski-Szeregowy, Y.O.P.P., 02.22.1921. Award details unconfirmed.
*Soviet Union, Supreme Soviet Delegate’s badge, pinback in silver and red enamel, with identification pass named to Ivan Ivanovich Bodyul, in case of issue, with space for an additional screwback badge and with compartment for pass, extremely fine. Ivan Ivanovich Bodyul (1918-2013), was secretary of the Moldavian Communist Party; he was elected to the Supreme Soviet in 1960 and remained as a senior delegate until 1985 when he retired from public life, he was a close ally of Brezhnev (his predecessor as secretary of the Moldavian Party)
*Bahrain, Order of Sheikh Isa ibn Salman Al Khalifa, Third class neck badge, by Spink and Son, in silver and white enamel, with gilt centre, silver central border around the portrait of the Sheikh set with eight pearls and with two further pearls either side, width 59mm, extremely fine and rare
London Transport enamel BUS STOP FLAG (Request). A double-sided, hollow ''boat'-type sign in the traditional 1950s-60s 'bullseye' (pre-roundel) style. Lettering style suggests an early example from the 1950s. Carries the location ref 30801 and measures 18" x 15" (46cm x 39cm). In good, ex-use condition with a good shine and just a few small chips, mainly at the edges and a little dirt-staining. [1]
London Transport Buses OFFICIAL'S PLATE in enamelled chrome with leather WALLET, this being the last version (red enamel) of a design dating back to the 1920s, plus a London Transport Buses Operating Services Official's plastic LAPEL BADGE (with number matching the Official's Plate) and an enamel on chrome CAP BADGE 'South London Senior Supervisor'. All in excellent condition, as new. [3]
London Transport bus stop enamel Q-PLATE 'Alighting Point for all Buses terminating at Wandsworth Garage'. This would have been located at a nearby stop where buses returning to the garage would have disgorged their last passengers. Once an LCC tram depôt, the garage today houses some of London's sightseeing tour buses. A 'Q6'-size plate (equivalent to 6 e-plates). In good, ex-stop condition, a couple of edge-chips repaired and curved a little more than originally. [1]
London Transport coach stop enamel E-PLATE for Green Line route 701 destinated Ascot with Fare Stage annotation. Would have been located towards the western end of the route, perhaps at Staines or Egham. Fare stage Green Line plates are uncommon and even more so with a destination as well. In very good, ex-coach stop condition. [1]
London Transport bus stop enamel E-PLATE for Eastlander Coaches, an association of coach operators with services that penetrated the LT area in Essex and Herts. This plate could have been located in Harlow or Bishops Stortford, for example. This is the version of this plate with two sizes of lettering. A scarce plate in good ex-stop condition. [1]
London Transport bus stop enamel E-PLATE for route 491 destinated 'via Barnehurst'. As all buses on this route went through Barnehurst, it's difficult to know the reason for the use of this plate but it was probably located at a point served by buses going in both directions. Probably one of a single pair. In good, ex-stop condition. [1]
"Timpson's'' coach driver's CAP BADGE featuring a single-deck coach design with enamel inlays on chrome. Believed to date from the 1950s. Timpson's also operated buses in London during the 1920s before the LGOC took over those operations and passed them to Tilling. The coach operations became a BET/Tilling subsidiary in 1944 and eventually a unit of National Express. In excellent condition. [1]

London Underground enamel PLATFORM SIGN 'Jubilee Line'. These were/are used on certain ex-Bakerloo Line stations and are displayed above the station name bullseye/roundel. Measures 47" x 5" (120cm x 13cm) and probably dates from the 1979 opening of the first section. In good, ex-use condition, a chip at one end. [1]
London Transport coach stop enamel E-PLATE for Green Line routes 704 & 705, the latter as Alighting Point. Although split plates for these routes appeared between Bromley and Windsor, the Alighting Point annotation suggests a central London location at one of the points where a rather archaic regulation restricted boarding of coaches for reasons of traffic congestion. In very good, ex-coach stop condition. [1]
London Transport Underground "Fireman" CAP BADGE issued to staff responsible for installation of fire-fighting equipment, fire-safety inspections etc. This is the second issue of the badge, dating from the early 1960s. Badge is chrome-plated with ochre and red enamel inlays and is in excellent condition. [1]

A double-sided, hollow ''boat'-type sign in the traditional 1950s-60s 'bullseye' (pre-roundel) style. Carries the location ref 31635 and measures 18" x 20.5" (46cm x 52cm). A good example with a good shine, some chips (rusty) at the lower screw-holes on one side and a few minor blemishes. Original fixing bolts attached. [1]
London Underground District Line (District Railway?) enamel DESTINATION PLATE for Charing Cross/Hammersmith. Double-sided, reversable. An earlier type of plate, without the centrally-located chain-holes and appears to be intended for sliding into holders. Has small lugs at top edge showing abbreviations of the destinations. In good, ex-use condition. A most unusual variant. [1]
London Underground enamel PLATFORM FRIEZE PLATE of the first type, thought to be just post-WW2, featuring a simple bullseye symbol in red and blue. These were placed alongside the station name and were superceded by the later, more common type, with the line name across the bar and the symbol in line colours. Measures 15" x 7.5" (39cm x 19cm) and is in excellent condition. [1]
1933 London Transport Country Buses & Coaches Inspector's CAP BADGE in hallmarked silver and green enamel inlays with serial number 265 on reverse. Some polish wear to the 'griffins' and a little surface damage to the enamel in places but a good example overall from the very first issue of this badge shortly after the formation of the LPTB. [1]
London Transport coach stop enamel E-PLATE for the independent operator Grey Green Coaches which ran services to the South Coast and East Anglia from its base in Stamford Hill. A most uncommon plate from one of the few stops served by this operator in the London area. In very good, ex-stop condition. [1]
London Underground 1950s/60s flanged ENAMEL SIGN from a northbound platform at a Bakerloo Line station regarding services beyond Queen's Park. The sign is likely to have been positioned below the destination indicator. Size 42" x 5" (107cm x 13cm). Apart from a couple of very small chips, the sign is in very good condition. [1]
