A late 19th century Chinese Cloisonné on porcelain vase, having intricate butterfly and flower pattern, AF.The vase cover is split in two and needs repaired. Fragments of the enamel decoration around the crack are missing. Structurally the vase, itself, is intact but there are signs of crazing to the body. The body is also slightly discoloured. Some of the enamel to the body is missing. The vase measures 17cm high overall and 10cm wide.

This watch belonged to a Capt. Davidson who was a pilot during the 1960s for Middle Eastern Airways and based in Beirut flying Comet aircraft. He was presented this watch after flying the Emir from Beirut to Kuwait during a time of hostility in the region. Capt. Davidson later joined Ford Motor Company where he became their Chief Pilot and for several years flew Henry Ford and his executives around the world. Carr - Silver and green enamel pen tray marked 'N' with ribbon decoration to shaped borders on ball feet, an inkwell of square form with open work decoration to lid of flowers marked 'NORA' having curved brackets to each corner on serpentine sided base, also a curved letter opener in the form of a dagger inset with cabachon chrysoprases and marked 'NORA' together with an Omar Ramsden pen with lattice work and chrysoprases decoration. London 1913 and 1931. Length of pen tray 28 cms. Ht. of inkwell 6.5 cms. Engraved with makers to bases.
